Georgia made a big push in attempt to hire WR coach Kelsey Pope

When top-end programs want our assistant coaches, that says a lot about how elite a staff Josh Heupel has built.

When the assistant coaches refuse to be bought out, that says even more about our future.

Go Vols!
Plus, he's a wealth of knowledge on how this offense works. Win, win for them.

I'm not seeing anything about this on their sites, granted I haven't looked exhaustively. If anyone can link any butthurt, much obliged.

And, he knows his real payday is coming in a year or two after Nico makes All Americans out of our WRs.

Turning down uga as a wr coach is a no brainer, Mike Matthews alone is more valuable as a prospect than any single offensive player on ugas roster

They have been good for sure but they really have had very easy scheduling those years. Not to mention some of the best teams in the east have been trash for a decade or more.
They haven't played Alabama every year in the regular season, that's pretty much the scheduling argument against them. UGA and UF's OOC schedule is typically better than ours. Last year UGA played Georgia Tech OOC and we played Virginia. That's a wash. UGA and UF usually play a second P5 OOC team in addition to their instate rival. The years UGA won the NC they played Clemson and Oregon OOC also, this coming year they are playing Clemson again OOC. Florida is playing FSU and Miami, and played Utah the two years before that.

His wife was on staff in compliance at Georgia and was the scapegoat after she told them that someone violating ncaa policy needed to be called on the carpet. She was let go after she found a 2nd incident with same person and suggested that person be let go. Nothing was ever done to said person. A lot of hard feelings there, so no way he was going to Georgia.

Dang, she sounds like a narc. Do we need to be worrying that she's a snitch for the NCAA right now? We are in kind of a big fight with them ourselves. Lol.

Georgia, Georgia, Georgia, has got Tennessee on their mind.
They know what's coming, and that it is only a matter of time.
That soon enough they will only be able to moan and pine.
