Ah. Some confusion. uga is a trash program. The fan base is simply the most passive-aggressive, annoying fanbase in sports.

See, no one called the fans trash, just utterly annoying. Kinda like the uga fans on this thread.

SMH, Some of those are rated based on bars and restaurants.....

Not defending UGA, but the campus is nice - rest of Clarke County is meh. What's crazy is two of the poorest cities in the US are college campus towns - Athens and Manhattan, KS. I guess what that means is graduates obviously don't stick around. Lots of people on SNAP...

I’ve been to Manhattan, KS a lot. Great college town. Never struck me as “poor” at all. Affordable, yes.

Yeah, not sure where the Florida hype is coming from. They lose all their playmakers at WR, their best Dlinemen, and only productive RB.

Oh, and their recruiting has been crap by Florida standards.

Wasn’t me. Coley has never coordinated a good offense. I preferred Chaney. Coley was picked because of recruiting only.

I do remember UT fans laughing at us for hiring Chaney. We were told he would never run the ball.

I didn't laugh, Chaney is a good OC but he has to have complete control. I think Kirby is very insecure and too involved, he's a more polished version of Butch Jones without all the bs lines

Kirby knows defense. No denying our D has become elite under him. If he lets Monken have full reign of the offense we’ll be in business. We’ll see.

bowls are not looked at like they use to be. Not my words , words of the talking heads on TV. Which have ruined the bowl games. Just enjoy Mark Richt 2.0 and be happy. Ga does not set the standard for the rest of the SEC, regardless what you fans think. Tn and Fla have both been down for years and Ga could still not take advantage of it. All that talent and still cant win a NC

My feelings are hurt. JK. I have never been anything but respectful on this site, and I have been here for a while. You can probably guess the age of the poster by his comments. I am UGA 69. I was at Neyland when Herchel ran over Bill Bates. I reserve my hatred for Yech, UF, and the Barn.

No what that means is that the campus with students (with no income) are such a significant segment of the population that they bring down the average.
