Georgia Tech interested in Bruce Pearl???

I look for Tatum to get back in there and start making a big difference.

He's going to come back humbled and determined much the same as we've seen from Brian Williams. With Maze getting some minutes at the 2, I'm hoping this attitude will light a fire under Scotty, although that seems unlikely this year, unfortunately.

I say lets go back to the lineup/rotation prior to the Memphis game minus Tyler and go from there. I think that is the only way we make some noise going into the post season.

It was an honor for him and in turn for us......and guess what it didnt hurt the class. I mean right now this is the best class he has assembled (given it stays).

You're right; we only lost the #3 player in the country while Pearl was at the Jew Games.

I am sure that had a lot to do with it. Also go look at this years class. Hands down the best since he has been here and the future looks bright so get your shades on.

Also.....so you know it looks like UK is going to get an outright this year not a shared title......I know you get those two confused.

Yea, I have a lot of trouble matching wits with a high school Bruce Pearl slurper who started watching UT basketball last year and now things he is some sort of guru.

I think the class looks good right now. But if it's like Pearl's other recruiting classes, in 2 years we'll be lucky if any of them are left.

Possibly not. But it sure didn't look good on Pearl.

I really don't know how to respond on whether it did or didn't look good because there are 2 sides to that answer and both are probably somewhat right. However, the 10 class is looking awfully good so the point is probably moot. There's also a fairly decent chance for a huge surprise.

I don't think there is any way to look at it that it doesn't look bad on Pearl. He's essentially out on vacation while his star recruit decommits. There's not much spin you can put on that.

If we could swing Cothron or Moses, it would be awesome. Maybe Swipersuck would see the writing on the wall and hit the road if that happens.

Right. It's not like he couldn't have been recruiting JS during that same time that he was coaching at those games

I will go out on a limb and predict with somewhere near 100% certainty I know more about that situation than you do and I will tell you with that 100% certainty that BP coaching those games had nothing to do with JS.

I will go out on a limb and say that both counts are false. I bet you know no more about either situation than anyone else does on here.

I honestly don't know how I feel about him coaching those games. I know it was something important to him but the timing probably wasn't the greatest. I do know that it had nothing to do with JS though. But there could be a monster get still happening in the near future, however with recruiting that could change before I finish this sentence so I'm not holding my breath.

You guys didn't see the news on one of TOS????? Josh Selby has now re-committed to UT and hopes to enroll in the first session of summer school, so that he can get an early start on his academics for the 2010 school year...

Care to elaborate on why I am wrong?

No I do not and am not playing this game with you anymore.

If you want to talk about basketball I will gladly do so but I'm done playing the I know more than you do game and probably should've just kept my mouth shut.

Thank you for proving my point. Now, back to basketball.

Exactly. Now then...where were we in the basketball debate?

Umm okay?? Interesting conclusion drawn.

And where were we in the basketball debate? Hell if I know, this started about Georgia Tech and has been circling the drain for days. I'm officially done with it (at least for tonight.)

Disclaimer: unless I decide to change my mind and post in it again.
