How is that an interesting conclusion? I never asked you to state who you were. The "exactly" was more directed at the fact that you proved my actual point, which was you're posing as an insider rather than having actual inside knowledge that you would share.

Well I can't leave with this hanging out there so I suppose I should try to respond. Do I know pretty much exactly what happened with him this summer? Yes. Do I know what's happening with him now? For the most part yes.

Am I at liberty to post any of that on here? No way in hell. You can draw your own conclusions about who I am or what I know, it doesn't matter to me in the least bit. I'll be hanging onto my anonymity like the rest on here though.

Like I said, I should've just kept my mouth shut but I tend to get a little too overpassionate when I see mistruths posted.

Looks like he's as good as gone to Ga. Tech. We best start developing that list of great coaches who just can't wait to come to TN for the 2 million we pay. Then, finally, we will win every game and multiple national championships, not to mention winning the SEC every year.

Just trying to go along with all the posters who can't wait for the next great coach and how we can accomplish so much more when we get "him". You know the grass is not always greener on the other side of the road.

I'm not saying Pearl needs to be fired. Actually, I like Pearl. The issue lies with improvement. I'm sure I am not speaking for myself when I say that. IMO, what I would like to see improvement in are the following...

A) Half-court offense
B) Recruiting a legit PG
C) Stop recruiting guys with character issues that other schools won't touch.
D) Improvement in tournament play (both SEC & NCAA)

Actually, when you think about it, a combination of A and either B or C will, IMO, ultimately lead to D.

For what it's worth, I think Pearl has done a good job this year considering the suspensions and dismissal of Tyler Smith.

I fully agree. I have never said that Pearl is beyond criticism or that there aren't many things that we could and should be better at.

LOL guys sorry I dont check this every day to get back with you and i wasn't talking about people on here saying that about Roy. I remember watching the tournament back when he was with Kansas and announcers and color guys talking about him not being about to win the big one. I will try and find a quote for you but truthfully it is just from my memory and I dont wanna devote alot of time looking it up.

Curious?!? Why make an analogy of Roy Williams in a Bruce Pearl thread. Then call people “angry” when they connect the dots.

It seems they did exactly what you wanted them to do.
