He did. Should not have been overturned. Other non TV vids prove it. But it was reversed anyway.

Jeez some of you need to live in the real world. It was clearly out of his hand when they did the frame by frame replay. It sucked.

I thought I was only one thst thought that. At wjat point can he see leave his fingertips

The ball touching your finger tips does not equal control. Put our fingertips on top of a football. What happens? It falls to the ground.

It's not the fumble that bothers me but the rule where it's a touchback and the other team gets the ball there. Why not retain possession but bring it back out to the 20? I think the other team needs to recover the ball to gain possession.

Yes, but momentum and acceleration were playing a part as well as gravity. The ball didn't fall straight down it went in the direction of the momentum and acceleration.

He didn't have control of the ball. It sucks but the refs made the right call. Momentum and acceleration are irrelevant. He has to have control of the ball when the ball crosses the plane and he did not.

Look at the shot, the ball is touching the goal line, and he's whole hand is on the ball?

What more proof do you need.

No they are both very relevant, momentum produced by pig when he jumped toward the end zone and pushes his hand out helped keep the ball in his hand for a split second longer.

Also there was a slight breeze blowing towards Pig so when he dove at the goal line and extended the ball. The wind pushed the ball into his hands for a split second longer.

Did you gradumatate from Alerbamer?

Wow looks like you may have!I would get into the normal and tangential momentum vectors, but I think you maybe already confused. Haha

I just like to fast forward to where Reeves-Maybin blocks the punt and we recover for a TD. That was the loudest I had heard the stadium in a long time

At one point you can hear Rocky Top plain as day through the tv

I loved Larry as I grew up listening to him. But he went a little overboard with the "hobnail boot" thing. Didn't make sense to me. I think it was a senior moment as he was pretty old at the time. Anyway.........

that's a pretty clueless comment.. you really a dawg fan? i doubt it.. you would be the first dawg fan i know say that kind of crap about larry. that was an awesome call and it's one that will be replayed over and over as long as you live. you add the hobnail boot to the call on hw running over bates and those are two awesome calls. larry munson was still very sharp mentally even as his health started to go in the wrong direction.
