Get off the train

All you people that wanted any quarterback Tennessee had other than Worley, get off the train now. Those that wanted Peterman, you got him at Florida last year, those that wanted Dobbs, you got him for 4 games.

I dont post much on this site, because it lowers my brain cells.

You see Im from Rock Hill, Worleys home town, he didnt just learn to be accurate over the summer, or make good decisions over the summer. I saw him as a 12 year old, playing pee wee football. Of course when he was a freshman in high school throwing to Cordarrelle Patterson helped.

My point is, most of you so called "I live, eat, breath, sleep, Tennessee football fans" DO NOT.

You are wishy washy, have no loyalty at all to the kids that are playing, if they make a mistake, bench em, matters not the the coaches made the decision to play them.

I read these posts daily, and I can tell from the content that 99.9999% of you were high school All Americans, things just didnt go your way

Just admit it people, you were wrong, Worley is a good QB,

Oh and btw....he can throw the deep ball

You sound extremely butthurt. Worley is playing big boy football and he knows it. If you don't perform at this level a passionate fan base will call you on it. He has shown improvement against mediocre competition this year and is getting justly praised. He's the best we have but I'm not ready to anoint him the next Manning.

Also I don't know or care who Mason Rudolph is.

Worley sucked last year. There, I said it.

Same thing happened with Crompdaddy. Opposite thing happened to Arian Foster. It's life.

Hopefully you can learn from this and come back next year as a better poster.

I'm amazed at the number of likes the OP received for playing the "true fan" card. Sure Worley has done well and deserves to be the starter. I'm not sure anyone can argue that. Does it make him the greatest UT QB of all time? No. Right now, he's not even top 5 all time, but he's the best we have. But if he were tanking right now, all the "true fans" would absolutely be clamoring for a change. The OP as a "true fan" of Worley would probably be claiming he "deserves" a chance to play through it, but as a "true fan" of the Vols, I say play the guy with the best chance of winning. Again, at the moment, that guy is Worley, but the OP is confusing his love of Worley with his love for the Vols. I cheer for every Vol player, but I pull for the team first. Worley's just one player.

But now your telling me I can't be Vol because when Worley was being challenged hard by Peterman....and I just wanted the man that gave us the best chance to win at QB...no more Vol fan card for old DERELICK...man this day sucks for sure now.

Wait a second...are you just trying to tell us an uncool story about being the creepy high school football star stalker guy...disguising it as we are not a true fan because of our non-life long obsession with all things Worley...mainly based on his Helter Skelter season last year? I've heard of you and pretty sure Chris Hansen is looking for you....

The question was..........if you had bothered to read. Was

how does this relate to this topic.

Now sit down, shut up, and listen, Mason Rudolph.

go look and see if there is a relationship between Mr. Rudolph and Mr. Worley.

Mason reads this board too.

Mason Rudolph died 3 years ago, so it's unlikely that he reads this thread. A 5-time winner on the PGA tour, he was Tennessee's favorite golfing son.

If you were referring to somebody else...well, clarity doesn't appear to be your strong suit.

It shows.

My favorite part is how POSTING lowers his brain cells so he limits that. Yet later he says he READS on here every day.

It's starting to make sense now. :birgits_giggle:

Sorry OP. No way you expected this thread to end well. BTW, I always thot JW was the guy and expected him to click once he got the reps. :salute:

Mason Rudolph is from my hometown (and hometown of JRM, Travis Stephens, and Harry Galbreath) of Clarksville and is arguably the greatest golfer from the state of Tennessee (has a course named after him in Clarksville). Held the distinction of being the youngest player to play in US Open for a long time and may still. Didn't read whole thread, so slightly confused why he's being mentioned here.

Mason Rudolph is also a qb at okie light. He lived in the same neighborhood as Worley and took over as qb at Northwestern HS after Worley graduated. RockHillVol must be Mason Rudolph.

Lets be for real tho. Worley has an ugly deep ball. It's like he's throwing a brick, but his med to short range passes are spot on. Sucks we gotta qb who's not good at throwing deep with the stud wr's we have. I'm sorry but it's true.

So many points being made right now in this thread I thought I would make one myself. WHO EXPLICIT CARES!!!!! Go to Walmart and have a cookie. You did it. Congrats. Really?? What a waste of my time. Bashing everyone when all you are doing is beating your chest and wanting all to know you were right about Worley? My question is, if you are so sure about him then why didn't you do this after he was named starter? Or after the Utah state game? Waiting to see if he played well.....? Hmmm..... Interesting. Anyways, back to what's important. Okla-freaking-homa! Give it a rest, seriously. Go vols!!!

Actually he can't throw the deep ball. But thanks for the rambling.
