All you people that wanted any quarterback Tennessee had other than Worley, get off the train now. Those that wanted Peterman, you got him at Florida last year, those that wanted Dobbs, you got him for 4 games.
I dont post much on this site, because it lowers my brain cells.
You see Im from Rock Hill, Worleys home town, he didnt just learn to be accurate over the summer, or make good decisions over the summer. I saw him as a 12 year old, playing pee wee football. Of course when he was a freshman in high school throwing to Cordarrelle Patterson helped.
My point is, most of you so called "I live, eat, breath, sleep, Tennessee football fans" DO NOT.
You are wishy washy, have no loyalty at all to the kids that are playing, if they make a mistake, bench em, matters not the the coaches made the decision to play them.
I read these posts daily, and I can tell from the content that 99.9999% of you were high school All Americans, things just didnt go your way
Just admit it people, you were wrong, Worley is a good QB,
Oh and btw....he can throw the deep ball
Bandwagon fans are those that have no loyalty to a team and only begin supporting a program due to the programs recent success. Based in that criteria... We have no bandwagon fans. It's impossible. Our bandwaggoners jumped on board with Bama or uga a few years ago.
That being said, I'm not sure why people aren't more excited about worley. My brother and I were discussing it yesterday. He Imo is a much better qb than Bray. He was Gatorade player of the year out of high school. And has always proven to be a great leader. Hes never been in trouble once since he's been here. I just don't get it. Even with how successful he's been thus far this season... Hes still being criticized. It's not that they are on a bandwagon or anything, so people just are negative by nature.
My so called Big Orange Bretheran can continue, you made this about me, not my original post at all, seems to prove my point, you do not really care about the program, just ragging on players and people in general...I have a life to live, I shall continue to read with disdain.
You see I proved my point here...I made a statement about the unsupportive nature of this site, did no take but a few, actually one post for it to become an attack on me, my relationship to the QB or my educational background, if I choose to stick around it will become an attack on my mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and or sexual preference.
Sad sad people

In an effort to turn this thread into the direction it deserves to go - in Honor of our Starting QB and the OP.
Our players are showing the utmost respect for Worley as are our Coaches. Worley has a commanding presence on the field. His stats are impressing national commentators. I'm certain Oklahoma is paying attention and may even be a bit nervous. Listen to the words of all of our players and especially the players who are producing the most on the field. They have extraordinary respect for Worley. Worley is giving his all for Tennessee - He is giving his all for US and for YOU.
Please tell your son that he is doing great, but since he is a senior, he needs to learn not to stare down his primary WR on every play, giving the DBs a clear eye as to who he is going to throw to. also, please tell him that just because a play may be called to a certain WR, if he is not open, others might be, so please make your checks and reads and pick another open WR instead of staring down the one who is double covered and still trying to force it to them. Otherwise he is doing GREAT!
thanks
I assume this was directed at me.
I spoke with Justin over the breakfast table this morning and relayed your thoughts. He admits that this was one of his glaring faults early last year, but that he has consistently gone through his progressions so far this year.
.... then he said something to the effect of " if you think I'm bad, ...":whistling:
