2-3 more years of nothing, i just don't understand.
That's what I'm saying man, you already think the next couple of years are going to suck....Think positive for a change....Why even worry about UT football if you've got nothing good to think about and say about it? There's been some positive things come from this year....One of which is we at least get to go to a bowl game.....Still could get a decent bowl game....Yeah give him 2-3 more years....And think about it, you fire him now.....You bring in another coach with a whole different system to learn.....We go through another couple of years of mediocrity...Is that really what you people want?

Given your Bizarro MENSA credentials, I take all insults from you as compliments. It really exposes your intellect that all you can come up with are third grade quality insults. Maybe there's a remedial board somewhere you can go pollute until you have something useful to say.
I really could care less.....Say what you want about me and my opinions because quite frankly it don't bother me

If that logic is indicative of what the average fan thinks, then UT deserves a mediocre program. Christmas in Shreveport Fever, Catch It(Then Watch Your Program Die).

Kentucky is also going to a bowl game. I suppose in 2-3 years UK will be an SEC powerhouse.

Insecurity is exposed when you continuously post about your superior (or others' inferior) intellect. Why can't you simply listen to the other guy and disagree without acting like a bafoon? This is an opinion forum, is it not?

They won't be a powerhouse but I'll admit they've gotten better......They usually come around and have a decent year every 4 or 5 years....Or so it seems

i honestly wish i could be more positive, but since 01 i have no faith in fulmer and it has went even further south than that after the last couple years. i just think a complete change is best for the program. we just have differing opinions thats all. i see your point i just don't agree with it.

Ironically, you spelled buffoon wrong.

If you're going to use the word buffoon, please spell it correctly.

Exactly, I mean like I did with VIA, I'm more than willing to agree to disagree with you and Hatvol.....He can insult me all he wants to...I'm a high school kid, it don't bother me...I could care less, I've got better things to worry about.....But I just don't understand how you guys could want such a big change and then when the new coach gets here expect to just come out and win.....Yeah, sometimes that will work but sometimes its a flop....I've seen where some people want the guy from Rutgers to come here....But he's in the Big East, he wouldn't know what to do with the competition he sees every week in the SEC, I don't see him being a good fit....I'd like to know who we're going to get that's going to fix all our problems

Is that what you want for UT? A good season every few years?
No, its not but we're not going to win the National Championship every year like most people want us too....I want us to win a National Title as much as the next person does but I know its not going to happen every year

rutgers coach i think would do an excellent job. i believe in hamilton and in my opinion i know he could find a better coach. the same way he brought in pearl.

A big part of the problem now is that Fulmer cannot even recruit at the levels he once did because his star is tarnished. If nothing else, a dynamic new head coach would probably net us a couple of good recruiting classes (see Ed. O. at Ole Miss for an explanation of how this works).

Heeyaw, heeyaw, heeyaw... Michael Oher.

and bring some excitement to the program which it needs badly.

He landed Pearl, but look at the years before we got him.....Buzz Peterson straight sucked......We went through what 2 years of Buzz Ball and 2 losing seasons? Not sure on how long Buzz was here but when he was here, he sucked.....I don't want to have to go through something like with a football team

Why do you mention the national title every time someone criticizes Fulmer? Of course he isn' going to win it every year. No one is criticizing Fulmer for not winning the national title this year. They are crticizing him for finishing (at best) fifth in the SEC. At this point it would be a compliment for Gator fans to sing, "Rocky Top you'll always be second in the SEC."

He inherited a team whose last big win was 20+ years ago. It doesn't matter what conference he was in. The fact he has the team undefeated right now is unbelievable.

I think he would be a great fit.

Because 99% of the time that's why the people that come on here saying he needs fired want him fired

You've got the right attitude. If that's your opinion don't allow others to deter you or twist your words. You said you're only in high school. Being many years removed from high school I can tell you that you will deal with insecure guys like this for the rest of your life. As for the merits of your argument, I agree with you. We can't be dominant every year. At some point it may be time to cut Fulmer loose, but I don't think we're there yet.

I'm not saying he's a bad coach at all, I just don't think he'd be a good fit in the SEC...I'm not saying the man can't coach and win a big game because God knows he won a big game Thursday night..I just don't think he could win the big games in the SEC
