Ghosts..... Have you ever seen them?

You have no idea what you are talking about. This is a true story that happened to me a couple of years ago. I decided I wanted to repaint the interior of my house. I called up Bigfoot and asked if he could come help since he can reach the high spots without a ladder. Anyway, a couple of days after we painted some weird things started happening. I woke up one morning and someone had spray painted "Die, mother******" on the side of my pet unicorn. This had my wife all tore up. A couple nights later, I was woke up in the middle of the night by someone singing Achy Breaky Heart. I got up to investigate only to discover O'Malley, the leprechaun that lived in my storage shed, hanging dead from a door knob. Best we could figure was that after we painted, some ghosts in the house got pissed because they liked the old color. Me and my wife moved out about a year ago. That's what happened and I don't care if you all think I'm crazy or not.

This is usually what people's responses sound like to me.

I spent 8 hours in Waverly Hills, yeah i saw a few things that i couldn't explain that night. Shadows that would move in and out of moon lite doorways were hard to pass off or debunk. We tried to see whether it could be reflections from a nearby road, but it was too far away. Can't really explain that one. I'm a skeptic more or less. I try to figure it out or debunk it before saying it was something other worldly.

I lived in a small house in Old Hickory Tn in the mid to late 90's. The strangest thing that has ever happened there was........ I got up one night to take a piss and my return air filter was setting by my trash can in the bathroom. I know for a fact i didn't put it there. Checked the return to make sure i hadn't replaced it and no it was the one in the bathroom. My sister and her husband's brother had weird experiences there also. Things moving around and my sister had a experience of waking up and not being able to move. I also had a experience of waking up and not being able to move in that house. Conscious, but seemingly unable to move or talk until i finally snapped out of it. That was weird and it never happened again, if it had i would have moved out immediately. I personally never saw anything actually move on it's own there, things did seem to be out of place from time to time and i just dismissed it.

I have never saw what i thought was a ghost though, just some weird thing that have happened.

There was this one time that I was at this art place, and this giant painting of some old dude came to life. It was crazy. Luckily the statue of liberty smashed the ceiling and these jokers took care of it. I guess they had some hardcore paint thinner

Ghost story

My dad never really knew his dad, but when I was born he was interested in seeing his grandchild. We all went to the beach for a week or so and relationships were repaired. We planned another trip but he ended up getting sick so it never happened.

I was spoiled as a kid and I still slept with my parents often til about the age of 2. My grandfather was in the hospital at this time and one night at 2:45 I sat up in my parents bed. My mom looked at the clock and told me the time and asked why I was sitting up. I said the old man by the door came to see me. We got a call later that morning. My grandfather had been pronounced dead at 2:43, two minutes earlier than when I sat up.

Good bump. Let's have a few more stories, jabronies.

I recently took a ghost tour in Key West. There is a building called the Chameleon club that sits on top of the site where a horrific tragedy once took place. It is located across the street from the St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Key West. I don't recall the year, but the wife of the Pastor of the church was in the the building where the Chameleon club is now located with 17 children doing a bible study. The pastor, having just found out about an affair between his wife and the Deacon, went to the building and locked all entrances and exits and burned the building to the ground with the children and his wife inside.

During the tour, we were instructed to walk up to the glass doors of the club and knock softly on the doors. Many people did this with no reactions from inside the building. My girlfriend and I revisited the site after the tour and I tried knocking again. I tapped on the glass several times and was about to give up and go back to Duval street when I felt and heard tapping back from the inside of the building. I then began to smell burnt pop corn, which was one of the signs the tour guide told us to look for. I don't know if it was my mind playing tricks on me after being conditioned by the tour guide, or if this was a legit occurence, but it freaked me out and I ran across the street just to get the hell away from that place. Then I went to Sloppy Joes to get drunk and forget about it.

here's one for u. u can say what u want but this is what happened. in huntsville there is a large and very old cemetary downtown. anyways i've always heard all these stories about "childrens playground" which is literally a child's playground at the very back of the cemetary. very odd. i always thought the stories were garbage or the ppl just thought they saw something. ne ways for biology lab we went to the cemetary to look at how the head stones age over time. anyways me and my roommate who had the class w/ me turned in the wrong entrance. ended up driving back to childrens playground. i had never been there so we got out to see what the fuss was about. i swear on everything that on the swing set only one swing was moving. it wasn't barely moving and the wind was not blowing. i mean this one swing was swinging. there was no one else around. my roommate was so freaked out he jumped back in my car. it was the middle of the day, i didn't see anything other than the one swing moving out of 3 total swings on it.

I live in Huntsville as well and I can say that I have been to the "children's playground" in the cemetary off California St. and I have never seen anything. But I have numerous friends who describe the exact same thing. The lone swing aggressively moving and no wind at all.

I have gotten chills reading some of these stories.

I have never seen anything that would make me think ghost.

But a house I lived in several years ago with my Mom and Step-Father was said to have been haunted, the guy that lived there before had a heart-attack in the driveway and was DOA.

During summer break from school I would stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning.

There were two spots in the main hallway of the house that if you stepped there the floor would make this very distinct sound, on several occasions I would hear that noise and open my door as soon as I heard it to find nothing down the hallway. My Mom heard it too, I remember her telling me that on a few occasions she would hear someone walking and would get up to see why I was still up, just to find me in bed.

What is said below happened at the next house I lived in.

On more occasions then I like to recount, I would go to sleep, while sleeping I would feel as if I were being elevated from the bed and a feeling of chills going over my body, I was asleep in that I couldn't open my eyes but I feel like I was completely aware of what was going on. Feel Like I could hear what was really going on and I feel as if I had a real awareness of everything.

When I would finally open my eyes I would wake in a cold sweat, heart pounding, go back to sleep, same thing all over again.

I have not had this experience for a few years now, but when it happened it happened two or three times in one night, never just once.

Not sure if it can be explained, not sure if it was anything paranormal but to this day that feeling gives me chills and freaks me out.

Could have been just an incubus I suppose.

i don't believe in crap like that, but i swear on everything that it was just that one swing swinging like someone was on it. i was wanting to go down right beside it, but my roommate was being a pansy and yellin at me to leave

I've never seen one, but I had my name called by what I thought was my wife, plain as day no mistaking. Weird thing is, my wife or anyone else was not in the house.
