Ghosts..... Have you ever seen them?

Dont think this one is helping your case, Tux.

My case?

I am merely sharing a photo shared in another group. It took me a couple of days to see anything in this photo. It is in the eyes of the beholder. Some have the gift and some don't. It is not good or bad either way.

Well what is it you personally see?

If any of you are from Upper East Tn look up some of Charles Edwin Price's books he wrote about ghost stories in east tn and western nc. Even one story in my small community. A Part of the Dark is Moving: The Haunted Bridge at Stoney Creek. Some pretty cool stories he writes about involving areas around here if you like ghost stories.

Its your brain. You want to see it, you expect to see it, your brain automatically tries to put things together to suit those expectations.

Sorry, been watching too much "Brain Games" lately...

This is a photo that was taken at a hospice house in Sumner County. The lady's camera slipped and she accidentally took a picture that focused on the foot of her mother's bed.

What do you see?

A person had just passed away in that room the day before. Obviously, several people had died in that room over the years.

I spotted it very easily. It amazes me that others can't seem to see it without pointing it out!

By "gift", do you mean the ability to stare at something and convince themselves that they see something that's not really there.

I see a couple of orange UT hat wearing peeps. Other than that, it's just some weird out of focus pic that could be anything. One of the things wearing a UT hat could have been Gruden.

The sheet has folds in it and it makes it somewhat look like a sideways face. That's all it is. I am a believer and have seen some stuff myself, but in this case that picture is just a sheet with some creases and wrinkles.

You said slipped an took the pic. This is just my opinion. I think what we are seeing is the sheet is hanging off the foot of the bed slightly onto the what appears to be hardwood floor. The camera was in motion from slipping when the pic was snapped and that created a slight motion blur where the lighting was just right off of the floor. But I will admit after looking at it closely if you look at the grey part of the outline inside of the whiter glow it looks legit.

Should be looking for something along the lines of this:

That's not where I see it at all originally but nonetheless I still think this picture is just a sheet and our minds fill in the blanks of what we are are trying to see.

This is not convincing in the slightest. Not that I necessarily am trying to be convinced or otherwise.

Pic 1 is what you are supposed to see.

Pic 2 is reality (but I drew a right foot instead of a left)

Interesting picture, Tux. I've been itching to get out to a haunted location for some time now.

I have a friend who is living in a haunted 200 year old home. I am going to spend the 4th of July in it. Nightly occurrences.
