The truth is that Franklin is proof that it's not all about how many stars your recruits have. The upperclassmen for this Vandy team are not from some high profile recruiting class. They are the same old run of the mill guys that Vandy has always recruited. UT has been collecting top 15 classes forever including during Dooley and Kiffens era. We have a talent pool but haven't had a coach. Vandy has a coach with a low talent level and has mad it this far. Look what Louisville did with a great coach and mediocre talent. UT has a good coach now. It may take a few years to bear fruit but by no means do we need to be worried about Vandy long term. Once UT starts racking up wins against decent opponents, the cream will always gravitate here. It's going to be harder than ever to stand out with the rise of USCe and T A&M but all of the SEC teams are having to deal with talent dilution.
