And Vanderbilt is out-recruiting Tennessee. Vandy has 21 commits for 2013 (according to Rivals.com) to Tennessee’s 13. Moreover the Commodores are getting more 2013 commitments within the state of Tennessee.

Calm down. Prior to their bowl game Vandy didn't beat a single team with a winning record. Check Rivals again. Part of the ranking is on the number of commits but the more important part may be the average number of stars. We are ahead of the Dores there and will undoubtedly use up our allotment of scholarships. I always remember what a friend said about Vandy, "Vanderbilt is Bob Jones University for kids whose parents are well off."

I nearly threw up when I read the part about Vandy being the NEW POWERHOUSE....and just stopped reading. Wow. One decent season, and they are suddenly a powerhouse? How many SEC Championships have they won lately? A powerhouse? Yeah.....Pffft. :loco:

I believe the author is getting a bit ahead of himself here. With that being said, if we want to stop people from writing this stuff, we need to give them a reason not to. We have lost everyone's respect and desperately need to earn it back.

Unfortunately this true.....got to give Vandy credit, look at how long Vandy was the doormat of the SEC....not anymore.....the Vols and Kentucky are the doormats now

How many 4 and 5 stars can stay in school at Vandy? Oh yeah, Vandy still sucks!fans suck, stadium sucks, tradition sucks. F them. One good year and they rule the state? C'mon man! They will be back to normal butt sucking Vandy again in no time

we wasted so much talent last year by switching to a 3-4. the talent pool is good enough to produce in year one on both sides of the ball. Heck we may even avg more yds rushing per game. The defense will be better against the run with an extra lineman and the pass d literally can not be any worse. Vandy will not kick our ass like that again for a very very long time
