To each their own. I can easily admire somebody’s accomplishments while hating their politics. Which is what I’m doing here. I’ll say it again. She’s an amazing woman whom I have tremendous respect for.

Agreed, however she's making the mistake a lot of people make when they age. She's hanging on too long and tarnishing her career.

I seem to remember you having an elderly gentleman on one of your planes whom you made it a point to shake his hand and acknowledge you hated his politics however you respected him personally? I think you’re intelligent enough to see both points here.

She’s being stubborn. I’d say that’s in her fiber. It’s in most elderly strong willed people’s fiber. While it is annoying it doesn’t take away from her life’s work? 🤷‍♂️

She is more popular now than ever. She is a national icon and hero to millions.
My daughters both proudly wear RBG tee shirts.
She will fight for what is right until her dying breath.
The world could use a lot more like her.

And she is tarnishing that stellar career by hanging on too long. Also it's not her job to "fight for what's right".

if she wanted to "fight for what's right" she should have stepped down from the court and ran for office.

We will just have to disagree on this one.
The greatest tarnish (injustice) to her life's work and accomplishments would be to have Trump (of all people) replace her.
She, and everyone else, is acutely aware of this.
She was wise enough to understand that not all interpreted the Constitution the same and that her interpretation was much needed and could have lasting positive impact.
