I stayed overnight Sunday night in the Williamson Co, hospital with my 84 year old mom. She brought up the subject of the so called current climate of indoctrination and I swear she is more logical and reasonable at 84 and on pain meds than a lot of you guys are.

You remind me of all the people in the early 70's saying, "races ain't meant to mix", "my child will not be forced to go to school with a black child", etc..........

Y chromosomes should not be in Girl Scouts. Are you anti science? I hope you didn’t pull a muscle trying to bring race into this.

How's your mom doing? I hope she's back on her feet asap.

Thanks! She and both of my brothers live within 5 miles of the Williamson Co. hospital on 96.....and both of them and their wives are great when it comes to taking care of my mom. Being in GA, I'm not as hands on as they are.

Very similar thing happened to my Mom in her mid 80s. She recovered just fine

I understand what you're getting at, but LGB/pride content is not inherently sexual in nature. For example, pre-teen/tweens primarily learn about different family make-ups. Keep in mind some of these kids will come from same-sex homes or have friends who do, so it won't necessarily be some completely foreign concept. There's nothing wrong with learning about different family types, imo. It does not and should not get into sexuality at these ages. Older kids can obviously handle more, like learning about Stonewall. But, again, LGB content does not equal porn. It doesn't harm children to learn about different facets of the society in which they belong. My opinion.

It would have meant so much to me if I had age appropriate education about LGB families when I was young.

Actually it's not wrong considering the idea is the faith patch is how religion and the girl scout values are inter twined....what values do s being a lesbian have that intertwine with a girl scout beside being female???? None because it about sexuality....and girls account should be non sexual. If you can't see a difference then you too deep in SJW lifestyle of libratarian fence sitting to matter

You said it was based on self sacrifice and you couldn't have been more wrong.

They aren't "being gay" they are demonstrating tolerance and acceptance of others, which are values, like it or not.
