Self sacrificing is a major component of faith and in scouts.. Helping elderly, community service etc.

If it about tolerance, then a tolerance patch would be better served not a pride patch which relates directly to a person sexuality..

This is a form of indoctrination and SJW.. And a reason for membership decline...

The badge is optional. If it's indoctrination so is the faith component. People have different values and you're clearly missing these two. I would much rather hang out with somebody who is tolerant and accepting of different strokes than someone who has faith. Faith is not a personal value that directly offers anybody else anything. It's cool that faith leads some people to be nice and service oriented. It also leads some people to be intolerant douches.

Pride month literally refers to proud of being LGBTQ which is a sexuality....LGBTQ are done of the least tolerant out there and the same level as religious zealots... Most that have faith don't care as long as your sexuality doesn't impact them....LGBTQ can't say the same..

Your ability to have that opinion is because faith based religious people built a country that is tolerant of your ability to believe what your want along and your didn't impose it on others....

The badge is not indicating that the LGBTQ community is tolerant and accepting. It's indicating the person who earned it is.

You're over-generalizing in favor of your group and it comes as no surprise.

That is not what the patch activities say... At all... Out literally had then educating themselves about being LGBTQ...a sexuality.... Again why she's a bed to be tolerant of a person sexuality?? Why do they need to know??? Answer those...

According to the girl scout activities that will earn a pride patch..it has to do with learning about the lgbtq community...for the faith patch they are to learn and then tie is back into scout s values...

So one patch ties into the values of the organization, the other is to educate children on a person's sexuality.

This is the ****ing dumbest gripe I've ever heard of. I don't know why you care so much or why you are framing it this way.

There is nothing wrong with a kid learning about LGBTQ history. There is nothing wrong with reading a children's book with an LGBTQ character. There is nothing wrong with attending a pride celebration. You are deranged. Your kids would be well-served to learn about the greatest person of the 20th century, Alan Turing...and his sexuality DOES matter. Because after saving the world, he was chemically castrated for being gay. GTFOH.

Imagine an atheist who doesn't actually care about the Girl Scouts getting this worked up about the My Faith pin. You are that guy.

I'm not gay. Been married for 32 years to a beautiful lady, who is also my best friend. I'm about to marinate some meat for the grill later this evening. We would like to know what to marinate our steaks with to make it gay. Two close friends of ours are a married, lesbian couple. We cookout with them several times a year. They are great neighbors. Their cookouts are always top shelf tasty. What marinades do we need to reach their level of culinary grilling???? 🤣🤣🤣

Their tuna marinating skills are out of this world based on my experience.
