Your post also points out those that are ruining education on all levels by injecting political & social advocacy and causing young people to not think for themselves.

I suspect the problem is that it's not YOUR political & social advocacy.

As for thinking for themselves -- I have yet to meet any college sophomore who doesn't think not only for him/her self, but also for parents, professors, and everyone else.
