Give your short, sweet summary/opinion of the OW Game

And at the same time he wont realize that nobody could score with the 2nd team offense. Even Dobbs. All scores were 1st team O vs 2nd team D, except Worley's. Seems like the mismatch of 1st vs 2nd was the main reason why we scored so much.

So it's fairly safe to say the 1st team D did not perform as badly as some are saying?

Bullock and Darr are solid

One of the things I've really liked about Butch and co so far are that they seem to really get a lot out of our special teams guys. Palardy finally lived up to his billing last season and now that we need them Bulluck and Darr are really developing too.

Having really solid special teams made the difference for us in the UGA and USC games last season (though we lost the UGA game).

My only complaint has been that we weren't really getting a whole lot out of our return men. Something tells me that may change this season with so many versatile athletes coming in. I think we get a few punt return/kick off tds this season.

He may realize it. He'll just ignore it and reference a Justin Bieber song or something.

Looks that way. Looks like our 1s might be able to put up a bit of a fight. Depth seems to be the issue. Calvary's coming to help in the summer, but they've never been in the war. Gonna be a tough year defensively IMO.

The bad thing is that when you come up from Baton Rouge for the O&W game, by the time you get back home to your computer, Volnation has already been discussing for 2 1/2 days!

Without having read all the rest of this thread, I will say that 1. I am not worried a bit about our QB situation, having seen at least 3 of ours that can throw it and will be running more this fall as well. 2. Am not worried about the things that I did NOT see ... in such a controlled, scripted "scrimmage" as that was, they only showed us what they wanted to show, sat many of our best players on the bench, and threw everybody else and their brother out there. 3. WRs ... wow.

4. Reeves-Maybin seemed to be in a lot of the action; I think he's a baller that is gonna help us.

I would agree with that. We played plenty of young ones.

Does anyone know if Coleman played much or, at all? I don't remember hearing his name called one single time, but I didn't see him on the injury list.

Needed more fans.. Heard that Penn State had more fan support how in hell could this happen?

I think it was Coleman that ran Worley down on his scramble and tackled him on the one yd line.

This will be Riley if he doesn't get his act together soon...

Dobbs and Worley even for starting job.... Peterman 3rd string... Riley 4th string.

We are loaded at WR.

Looks like Malone and Hurd are both the real deal.

Hopefully the incoming freshmen in June can add needed strength and depth on defense.

It will be a long season if our secondary doesn't improve.

Overall I was happy with the game.

I watched the QB's warm up closely and it appeared Ferg. had the strongest arm, and I'm not ready to give up on him yet. He needs some playing time to develop.

Dobbs looked improved and very capable of being a starter in the SEC

Worley looked like it will be hard to keep him from starting the first game

Hurd looked good for his first action in front of the crowd, but I think Marlin Lane will start.

Malone is going to be one of the UT greats

North is going to be a first rounder

Von Pearson is going to be a big addition

Defense I'm worried about, but hopefully offense will be good enough to keep us in games.

Kicking game looked good

Amount of hot chicks in short shorts and skirts at the game was amazing

1. Not sure why you have SC as a loss. We beat them last year and they had more talent then this years team. 2. Florida, they are installing a new offense, so they are beatable also. 3. Georgia is starting a new QB and lost several starters on both sides of the ball. This is the year that UT turns the table on these teams.

These should be wins...

Utah State
Arky State
UTC
Vandy
KY
Mizzou

These in all likelihood will be losses...

Oklahoma
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Alabama
Ole Miss

Like I said before, 6-6 will be what we finish I think though 5-7 would not shock me.

No stats? Or pics? Smh.

I'd like to know why people think USCe will be a Loss, and yet Mizzou will be a Win.

One team we beat, the other we lost to by 30. I'm lost on this.
