I think we all know at this point we will end up getting another mediocre coach. But this time it will really hurt because this program is already in such a deep hole. My concern is all we are going to do is dig the hole a lot deeper with another cheap, and unqualified hire. I really hope I am wrong but get ready for disappointment...


Also I want to clean house from top to bottom. Get these Florida and Bama fans out of our program. We need UT people running our program. Im done and so is most of VN for this mediocre product we get every year, and I am sure with another terrible hire we will be even worse then we were. All I can do is hope and pray because I fear that we will once again set ourself back and dig the hole we are already in even deeper.

Once again I really hope Hart shocks us all and gets a home run hire. It just doesn't look like that will happen...

Crybaby? How am I crying? I am just saying the truth. You will be the one crying when we hire a guy that will make you google his name to even know his background

Based on the best coach we could get flat out said I am not interested. Based on Stoops said he has no interest, based on the only winner we could land is Fisher but HE IS NOT LEAVING FSU... All that is left is mediocre or up rising coaches and WE DO NOT NEED TO EXPERIMENT ANYMORE!!

Gruden would have been great to get our recruiting where it needs to be. Dooley did not recruit well at all as we can see. He did OK with Offense but not defense. The next coach not only needs to be able to coach but he needs to be a great recruiter or have a great recruiting staff. We're not Florida, Georgia, or LSU where they just sign on the dotted line and a great recruiter is not as needed. This may be where we get hit the hardest in losing Gruden. We would have had the top athletes ready to sign with Tennesse if he were here.

Tried to let a Tennesee guy drive himself out of the ditch he drove us into in 2005,drove it completely off the mountain..that's what happens when you give someone with deep ties a free hand for 10 years..we need new blood,young guy with fire,not afraid to piss people off..uh..sorry,tried that also..crap..we are screwed

The hell is wrong w you people? "Get florida and bama people out"? They are highly paid individuals in positions of power for a reason. If anything, they are looking out for themselves, which should be what you want. The hire will be what the school deserves at this point

Im not? 3 straight losing seasons, current recruiting class is behind Vandy, that is not UT football. So yes this program is in trouble and needs a homerun hire to lift it back up.

The hires are there. The problem is the idea of a "homerun" hire. There are plenty of good coaches out there that the fanbase has deemed a fail.

All because a handful of idiots got all hyped up over a guy who reasonable people knew was never going to come here. Now nobody will be good enough and the University's entire administration needs to be fired to make room for "Tennessee people".
