GO HAWKEYES

Weird retake but yeah
Boston disappeared in the midst of the hacking arms and bulging bodies of Iowa players. Mentally zapped in sorrow by zebra fatigue.
Clarke dibble drive to the right , with a shooter on your right and the left side loaded , left a boulevard opening with no help. She shredded Beal ( unbelievable) several times , but she AINT all that.
CC is phenomenal. My bracket had Iowa winning the championship. Hope they pound LSU.

Dawn may be many things but a racist and hater. Nah , bad choice of words. Definitely not racist.
I don’t know if she is or not, but she could have gave some credit to Iowa and talked about the actual game some instead of talking exclusively about what the media is saying. The media stirs it up with everybody, it’s not like they exclusively pick on South Carolina. She discredited Iowa by not even mentioning them. It may have been by accident and not intentional, I won’t even judge it. But by talking exclusively about something else she talked zero about a great game that was played.

Dawn said what Dawn believed. Maybe she felt Iowa didn't deserve any credit , personally the zebras turned what could have been a great game into something else. ______ fill in the blank with UConn instead of Iowa. See your opinion changed.

Dawn knew Dawn coached a bad game. She failed to adjust. Watch Kimmy today to see how it is done.

Tell the bigs to stay in paint. Stop Clark driving and that eliminates half her game.

Dawn has too massive of ego to admit that she pooped the bed. Typically Philly attitude of blaming everyone but yourself.

100% on Dawn due to inability to change defense. Caused stress on Boston and other rebounders who missed about 20 shots from point blank range.

The team choked like they had a chicken bone caught in their chicken pooping throat. All Dawn's fault.

I am still trying to understand how LSU was a 3 seed with only 2 losses all year. One to South Carolina and one to Tennessee. Their OOC schedule was very weak, but they played a SEC schedule. I guess I overrate the strength of the SEC.

I recall the committee saying they gave bonus points to Lady Vols for playing a crazy hard schedule.

And, they penalized LSU for scheduling 14 cupcakes.

Yes. LSU's non-conference strength-of-schedule was ranked 144th. They played only two teams in the NET top 100, and none in the NET top 50. They played 5 teams with a NET rating below 300. (EDIT: Actually, their regular season SOS was worse than that; I think it was around 170th. It's now 144th based on the NCAA tourney games they've played.)

By comparison, Tennessee's non-conference strength-of-schedule was ranked 2nd. They played nine teams in the NET top 100, and eight of which were in the NET top 50. They played 1 team with a NET rating below 300.

And sure, LSU still made the Final 4 and could win the national championship, but I'm glad the selection committee still sent a message. I hate how weak LSU's schedule was, too, because it's not helping grow the sport by playing no good games for national television.

That said, Tennessee could certainly scale things back a bit next year. Maybe something closer to UCLA's non-conference schedule, which ranked 29th. They played six teams in the NET top 100, five of which were in the NET top 50. They didn't play any teams with a NET rating below 300, but they did play 5 in the 200 range. Those kinds of games seem to be helpful for building chemistry early, which the Lady Vols really didn't get an opportunity to do this year.

Absolutely, but let's keep fabricating this narrative that the world is racist against her team. Because, you know, everyone has been calling them "monkeys" all season. If we talk about that, we're NOT talking about how Dawn crapped the bed...

Seriously tired of all the Clark hype with folks acting like women's college basketball just appeared this year. There have been ionic women basketball players for the last 45 years - just because folks didn't notice doen't mean they didn't exist.

Go Tigers!
Yes Go Tigers!

In Iowa’s 6 losses they still averaged 79 points.

I just don’t see LSU having enough defense or offense to keep up. Iowa scored 77 on South Carolina, probably the best defense in the country. SC’s size and rebounding kept them in it. LSU won’t dominate the boards to that extent.

LSU will have to play out their minds to keep this close in my opinion. But if Mulkey somehow pulls this off. Kudos to her.

Maybe you should explain to Dawn Staley how it is all a "false narrative," particularly after she was asked in her presser to respond to all those who call her team "bullies"

Mulkey is a much better in game coach than Staley IMO. We will see if that makes a difference. Staley has much better size & talent top to bottom but as I watched the game vs Iowa she never adjusted. I felt like she just thought the cream would rise to the top and it didn’t happen. She said some things after out of frustration and no acknowledgment to Iowas game.

No my opinion didn’t change. It is classless to not mention your opponent that took it to you in a great matchup. But hey if you like her fine, it is classless no matter who would have done it. If she felt Iowa didn’t deserve no credit she really does lack basic basketball knowledge. Anybody that would couldn’t appreciate that battle has issues in my opinion.

Poor Staley. She has been victimized again. This time by Iowa. She's good for a superlative defection though.

Do you want to rethink these comments? LSU was on pace at one point to score 120 points!
