I dont really care who wins. It's nice to see Memphis lose tho. I just want to see a close game. I also want to see Florida win tomorrow, even tho Noah was spouting French on national television.

I would rather UCLA win than Memphis, honestly, I think Calipari is worse than Chaney, Krizewski and Knight combined.

While I'm not terribly biased either way... it was BS for the committee to make this 1 vs. 2 match a practical home game for the 2 seed. Memphis earned the right to have the advantage during the regular season...

I would want Memphis to win. LSU already won and if Florida wins tomorrow.. that means 3 teams in the final 4 Tennessee played in the regular season.

After 39 minutes of basketball Memphis has scored a point a minute. That is offensive basketball. (Read the stress wherever you like.)

I agree with your post saying Memphis got ripped off. The crowd for the home fielding BRUINS is loud. Even though my sis lives in Cali and her daughter is a UCLA grad, tonight at least,I hate UCLA and the selection idiots.

Someone must have a backstory for being so bitter towards the guys in Blue... Care to share?

UCLA's style of ball sucks... they should fire Howland based on that. C'mon, it's Los Angeles, run up and down the court and hang 100 points on everyone. This 50-45 crap sucks.

Jordan Farmer thinks he's Jordan.

After I realized they were playing in UCLA's backyard and had the overwhelming majority of annoying Cali ppl in attendence, I was cheering for Memphis.

Yeah, that proves it. Taking a program that hadn't been relevant for ten years to the Elite Eight with a Freshman/Sophomore dominated roster really shows what a terrible job Cal does. I mean, look how UMASS has prospered since he left. By your measure, there are only about 8 or so coaches who can "win the big one."

Well, seeing as the regions are set, you could either give Memphis a 2-seed to put them closer to home after they CLEARLY earned a 1-seed this season, or you can put them as higher 1-seeds than Duke or UConn, which they in no way deserved. That's how these things work, tough luck.

With the remaining teams in the Final Four, I have to pull for a team... And it's gotta be UCLA, unless George Mason makes it past UConn. That would be sick to see an 11-seed in the Final Four.

Yes & cal is not one of them,he can beat oral roberts and bucknell & bradley and all the high school teams in c-usa,if cal is so great what is his record against top 20 teams while at Tiger High,it is on the negative side, cal maybe the best coach the NIT tourney has seen & they have seen him alot!

Actually, I think Dave Odom is retiring the NIT trophy this year. Given the mess Memphis was when he took over, no rational person would expect Cal to have a great record against top 20 teams overall. What was his record against the top 20/NCAA tournament teams this year? So I guess we can safely say that Tubby Smith is the only coach in the SEC who can "win the big one?" I guess Gonzaga, Alabama, UCLA, Tennessee, etc are terrible. They all lost to Memphis this year.

Cal is the most overrated coach in basketball,he thinks he is gods gift to coaching....he thinks there is no one else but him,a real jerk!

I'm sure you've spent plenty of time around Cal in reaching that assessment. Furthermore, as long as Mark Few has a job, the title of most overrated coach is retired and shipped to Spokane.

He isnt a good coach at all, he just has talented players and he lets them play how they want, i'd be willing to bet he doesnt do much coaching at all. he is just a really good recruiter

Exactly, he built UMASS from being the worst program in the nation to going to the Final Four solely based on his ability to recruit. That's laughable.
