Call me crazy, but I thought those 3's that cut the lead of a top 25 team in their gym was rather clutch. Golden was great tonight, made mistake at worst time. Wish fans would appreciate him

What's your option coach?

Wanna go to Woolridge? Tatum? McRae? Hall? McBee?

Tell me who the hell is suppose to get the ball in that situation. You go with Golden. He's the leader, the point guard, and in the last five games, your best player.

Who else is going to handle the ball? Soph vs. Sr. right there. Bost forced him into a mistake.

the play should not have gone through golden... everyone in gym knew that tennessee would try to go to him....

bad play call period

He had the hot hand and gave us an opportunity to score or find someone whilst State was concentrated on him.

It was an unfortunate ending, that was a fluke.

1. tennessee is not even in this game without golden
2. woolridge is not wide open for a 3 without golden drawing a double team
3.who would you like the last play to have gone through...please answer this?

Agree but he has already shown this year (Memphis game) he just doesn't have it at the end. Not hating, just stating cold hard facts.

One freaking game other than this? Are you kidding me?

I assume Michael Jordan wasn't clutch till 1991? Right?

Come on, use some common sense. Not like he bricked a wide open shot. He slipped.

he has also had clutch shots, play making, and free throws to close out some of our close wins, but of course that will go completely unnoticed.

That's 2 games actually now. I'm just saying we need to look for somebody else at the end..... Granted Maymon fouling out hurt a lot.

Who you wanna go to, Coach? Tell me, who on this team is better than Golden?

You can say Maymon, yet you can just foul him because he's an under average FT shooter.

Who else was gonna be able to take the ball and create? He had just played 30+ minutes with his man all over him in a tough, physical game. We were down 2 on the road to a ranked team. There was nothing wrong with that play call and if Golden isn't on our team, we aren't in a position to call the play.

Set a screen like previous play... It is well known that Golden doesn't have the best handles in world.

Exactly, there was no one else he should have gone to. . .second guessing when it doesn't work is easy, you're always right.

Golden was exhausted from carrying the team the whole game. That play pissed me off too, but coming down on Trae for this loss? Ridiculous.

You didn't watch the play. They were going to. Woolridge was coming up to set a screen as Golden slipped.

Golden played an outstanding game tonight. He is an all SEC guard. He outplayed Bost all night.

He is one of the best point guards in the league. He will get other chances in the clutch and he will make his share.

And we're back to the beginning now. Golden doesn't slip and cough it up then something may have happened from it.. Can't look at the what if's with it.

So, it's Golden's fault that he slipped on the court? Come on, man.
