Goodbye Oregon Football

May I suggest we not leap for glee at Oregon's misfortune? For one thing, what goes around, comes around. But more than that, Oregon is pretty much on record here and in a publication, I believe as being Kiffin haters. Could we spare Oregon a bit of sympathy on the basis of, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"? As I recall one OU fan posted something to the effect they regretted not beating USC by a bigger margin. USC fans called OU traitors as a result, disloyal to the PAC-10 (12). Vols fans, show some class, please.

There were an equal amount of good/bad Ducks on here.

Plus after they beat us, I recall the Duck fans not rubbing it in, being quite dignified about it. I don't recall any being dung beetles piloting buffalo chips and claiming they were flying saucers.

**** Oregon.

That, my friend, is the class being shown that some of them deserve.

Personally I wish no ill will to OU fans but Chip Kelly can roast for all I care.

On a side note. Have these coaches never heard of a Boostmobile throw away phone or an email that's not associated with the university they work for?

+1

There were some decent Oregon fans, but there were also some monumental pr!cks.
I don't understand why this guy is on VN. Of course he has the right to be here, but in almost every post he preaches about how classless Vol fans are particularly here on VN. I don't hang around situations if I feel that way about them.

generally speaking travelling fanbases are pretty friendly. it's when you visit where the real asshats come out and oregon has more than any other team in the pac-10.

Agreed. See UF urine bombs.

Every team has 'those fans'. It's sad really.

Common sense is the knack of seeing things as they are, and doing things as they ought to be done.

I have enjoyed the interaction with the Oregon fans on here, very rational and understand reality. I don't wish anything on them. The only program that deserves to burn is Auburn, and when it happens, I'm throwing a party. You are all invited.
