But, if he didn't care about Oregon, there are about 3000 other threads he could busy himself with.
The first round of documents sent was not current. The second round was.
I'm not sure why the thank you card would be very significant if he is thanking Lyles for something that isn't a violation.

The second round was spreadsheets that had almost nothing on them...but were somehow worth 25K.
Oregon "purchased" the 2011 National Service. Was either round of documents about 2011 recruits?
Unless he just wants to inform you that all the excuses and deflections are stupid (which he has clearly been doing). You're the one on an opponent's board that you don't play for two more years. Why?

Yeah, you got me. Because Oregon has bought players and blatantly violated recruiting bylaws and I have posted about it in here, means I just love Oregon. And because I believe oregon to had violated the **** out of the rules, according to your opinion, that means I am just jelli of oregon. Your pathetic deflection turning into acting like this is just a witch hunt by a jealous fan base of sore losers (UT) makes me want to comment more in this thread, not my love or "give a ****" about oregon.
One of the nice things of being a long time fan of a historically relevant program. I don't have to go to other crappy message boards seeking validation, especially when going through a rough patch, as the others will still come to you.
I guess I should have clarified which variety of sour grapes I was referring to. Not the jealous kind. The sore loser ones.

Yes. The second round of documents.
Willie Lyles provided the University of Oregon football program with more recruiting information than the school released Monday, though the additional documents provided to the media on Tuesday evening raised more questions.
The newest information from Lyles that Oregon put out came in the form of spreadsheets that listed high school sophomores in North and South Carolina, juniors in Louisiana and east Texas and sophomores in the east Texas area. Thus, none of the latest recruits listed could be considered as potential members of the 2011 recruiting class, the purported basis of a 2011 National Package of recruits that Oregon paid $25,000 for with a check dated March 30, 2010, to Lyles. The lists of underclassmen also were delivered to the UO almost a year after that payment to Lyles.
No I did not read this article. No I will never read your articles again and yes I wish you would answer the question. How much did you pay Willie Lyles for that interview? Sooner or later you have to answer, the public wants the truth!!
EW, nice post. This is going to be a non-story---one that will teach Oregon a lesson about going into Texas to grab a player, ANY player---and soon we can thankfully concentrate on Dallas and get ready to root for our team against LSU! I remember reading the other day a Goe story and he talked about some teams that 'self reported' or did something..to appease the NCAA..I don't even remember any of the teams or what happened...lets remember that with the 'internet news cycle' that any amount of 'news' is splashed across cyberspace...masquerading as truth and wisdom and actual news..
