You say a suggestion is not a request. Neither is it an "ask". For your theory above to be true, the NPR story is false.

What's interesting in this Tweet you offered is that Nina T's reporting is changed from "asked" to "suggested". Hmmm, wonder why the wording has to change in response to denials around the original word?

I'm just reposting this - I find it very interesting that the original story says Roberts asked and the retweet from a defender of NPR changed that to suggests rather than asks. At the time I posted this the NPR story still used the word asked. (and maybe it still does).

If you have to change a word to support your point maybe you should change your point?

Just to correct a misunderstanding, Justice Sotomayor has Type 1 diabetes. Type 1 is not caused by being overweight. It's genetic.

Maybe it's just that we see things in different dimensions.

The PF has convinced me that there may be something to this whole multi-verse concept.

My brother had diabetes since he was 11 yo and took two shots a day, he never became an overweight Gordita and forgot the basic tenets of the constitution. For the one millionth time masks don't stop airborne viruses...

Of course I know that some of you view me as being as gullible, biased, and sheepish as I do you. That's a large part of the great humor to be found in the PF.

In this case we're going where the facts lead us. The facts show 3 justices saying no mask request was made. There are no facts to support that a request was made. NPR has not admitted any error or issued a retraction. Those are the facts.

My opinion: This does not reflect well on NPR or anyone else who stands behind them on this article
