All 9 justices have received vaccines and boosters and are tested regularly. As are the advocates.

To me, the frame of reference here is simply that the other 7 all respected their colleague enough to wear a mask. Gorsuch is the only one who didn’t.

It’s douchey but probably not especially dangerous. I give it a -2 on the scale of public figure bad behavior, which runs from -10 (literally Hitler) to 10 (Dolly Parton).

Seems far more douchey to ask your co-workers to wear a mask for your sake instead of taking responsibility for your own health.

As a Supreme Court justice I believe he is setting an outstanding example of freedom of choice over feelings and emotions .. I’d give him a 9 , he doesn’t get a 10 yet because he hasn’t explained that concept to the media .

Maybe it’s douchey that one person thinks 8 others should have to wear a mask that serves no purpose.

It's a total douchebag move. There's no way he'd refuse to wear a kippah to the funeral of a Jewish colleague.

Does the vaccine work or not?

If you have the vaccine and still live in so much fear then stay home.

From January 2020 until May 2021 I never got sick. I never wore a mask unless the business I frequented asked. In May 2021 I took the jab before I went to Las Vegas in July. I’ve been sick 3 times since I’ve had the jab with a sinus infection and bronchitis.

I have no plans to take the booster.

She has been the only justice to wear a mask on the bench since last fall when, amid a marked decline in COVID-19 cases, the justices resumed in-person arguments for the first time since the onset of the pandemic.

Now, though, the situation had changed with the omicron surge, and according to court sources, Sotomayor did not feel safe in close proximity to people who were unmasked. Chief Justice John Roberts, understanding that, in some form asked the other justices to mask up.

They all did. Except Gorsuch, who, as it happens, sits next to Sotomayor on the bench.

It says a lot that there are 4 people on this last page who are so hopelessly partisan that they felt compelled to defend Gorsuch from a story they didn’t even bother to read and chose to make things up whole cloth to try to get the job done.

Imagine doing that and still thinking people should take you seriously. 😂
