I currently live in Chattanooga and have EPB. I absolutely love it. I used to live in Tullahoma and use their fiber optics service LightTube. The Tulkahoma Utilities board consolidated your cable, internet, electric, water, and waste bills into one. That was the best service I ever had.
Comcast can suck a ****. I used them in college in Chattanooga. When I moved back to manchester in 2011 I paid my final bill, cancelled my service, returned my boxes, and changed my address with them and moved on. I was assured that I had paid in full and would reciece no more bills. In the summer of 2013 my credit report showed that a collection had been sent out for me from Comcast. When I drove up to one of their offices and talked to them they stated that my service was cancelled due to inactivity, andI owed them for a month's service even though I had moved away an entire month earlier. I spoke with a manager who sent me to another manager who told me I needed to speak to another manager. After a whole hour I had to leave for work but said I would be back. They then had their collections agency call me through an automated service to say that I owed them x amount of dollars. That was the first time in over 2 years they ever once tried to contact me. My former roommates lived their for another year and would regularly let me know when I got mail delivered there. I paid my last bill in cash and didn't think to save my cancellation receipt after a year, so it's my word against theirs. I also bought a car in 2012 and when checking my credit score it was near perfect. So to me it seems it took them 2 years to either fabricate a bill to squeeze more money out of me, or they had some computer/employee error and they won't own up to it. Comcast is a terribly greedy mismanaged company that I will never do business with again.
Well that's my rant.
