So I'm just started watching this on Netflix and I'm on the 10th episode of season 1. So far I'm enjoying the show but I have one question regarding Alfred....what's his background in this show? Does he have a fighting/military background? Don't remember him being this bad ass in any movies, comics, etc.....

He used to be a fighter from everything I've gathered. He's definitely a bad ass.

Alfred is a former special force op in the Royal military. It was mentioned once in season 1 when one of his former colleagues tried to kill him

I read she wasn't going to be a major part of the series. Of course Jada Pinkett really doesn't have much else going on these day, well other than her crazy ass kids
