Should be a good debate for this one.

Many to choose from.

My 2 cents says " Illmatic", Nas' debut album was tremendous, timeless and cemented him as part of the GOAT conversation after just 1 album, it was that good.

OutKast are amazing but Stankonia isn't even their best album. Same can be said for Makaveli.

Doggystyle was great, but Snoops lyrical content leaves me unsatisfied...Dre made that album great.

Like it or not he may be one of the greats. Also that particular album was very good.

He's not even close......." I love you like a fat kid loves cake "...he is a genius alright.

He isn't even in the top 5 emcees from Queens.

The Chronic is the leader so far, great album for sure...everybody has different criteria I suppose.

LL and Run DMC are the only ones that I could see myself ranking ahead of him.

Then you know nothing about rap, absolutely nothing...without Rakim, there would be no 50, hell without Rakim there might not be a Nas.

Mobb Deep back in the day put out some great albums...your rap history must not go back too far.

Umm actually i do know about rap. I understand that someone had to pave the way for newer artists and all that, and the newer ones take what they did and build on it. Either way it's all in what you like as far as rap or any genre of music.

If you knew anything about rap, anything at all, you would know that Rakim and Nas are two of the best ever.

I'm not talking about who you like the most but who is actually the best.

It's a pretty common consensus that Rakim and Nas are top 5 emcees...most have Rakim as the GOAT.

Saying that neither one of them is better than 50 is crazy...50 is not even the best in G-Unit.
