It wasn't meant to be a joke. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and has been considered the architect of rock and roll. He should be mentioned among Rock vocalist.
While I like most of Ozzy's stuff, he's easily the most overrated rock vocalist of all time, IMO. He's all throat - no projection. It's a miracle the man's vocal chords haven't exploded!
