yes I do, he was also a great Vol back...long pass completions and even kick returns are nice...but man when a Vols back breaks a long run its the second most exciting thing Ive ever seen!
And remember Jay Graham's TD runs against BAMA in consecutive years.

(Dan, you should start a thread on memorable runs by UT backs. Since I'm older I would start with Curt Watson's run for the winning TD against Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl. I can still remember my old farmer dad jumping up and down in our living room.)

Good idea Doc . . . Through the miracles of Moderation . . . You just started the thread.

I'm going to go with Jay Graham's game winner from 75 yards against Bama in '96.

Ah shucks, it was dan4vols's idea. But we might get in a few uninterrupted thoughts before Hat wakes up in the AM to shoot us down. :D

Why would I do that?

Jeff Powell running away from the Miami secondary in the Sugar Bowl in '86.

It wasn't an important game, but Reggie Cobb had one against Duke in '89 that is as good a run as you'll ever see.

Because Kelsey Finch is a local hero here in the Muscle Shoals area who can forget his still record 99 yard run against Florida. I "saw" it on the radio that night in the '70's thanks to John Ward.

The most timely short yardage run I've seen lately was Derrick Tinsley on an inside handoff from the slot on 4th and Goal against Miami in '03.

I would insert Riggs in the SECCG if we would have won, but we didn't and I won't.

Who can forget Mose Phillip's tackle breaking run against South Carolina in a losing cause in JM's last year.

Then we made the worst play call in history on the two point conversion.

Travis Stephens had a back breaking run against Florida in 01 after Florida had just scored and was getting momentum.

Reggie Cobbs 80 yard run in the rain against auburn in 89

Chuck Webbs 78 run in the 90 cotton bowl.
I agree...that run by webb against the Hogs in the 90 cotton bowl was a thing of beauty!

Charlie Garner's run against the great Bama defense in 1992.( He got hurt in that game in the first half). Also we should have won that game and cost Bama their seventh NC but Shula got a mild concussion and Colquitt had to replace him after we had gotten the ball back with about 4 minutes to play and we conservative as bama knew we would and didn't capitalize on a turnover that our defense had given us.

I have to disagree with that. There's no way we should have beaten Alabama in '92. We were lucky to be in the game.
