Greg King

"I don't want to say they are my leader," King said. "But they are at the top with Texas Tech. I've still not been to Tennessee. I'm really looking forward to my visit up their on the 16th.

"When Phil Fulmer was there, he never came to see me. They (the new staff) made me a priority. I was the first place they came once they could get back out on the road. It showed me that they want me and I'm really feeling Tennessee right now. They are very impressive."

Kids all Vol.

VG, you come through with the goods, yet again. I've said earlier and I'll say again, once this kid sees campus, we will lead solidly for him. I think he commits shortly thereafter either silently or publicly.

:good!:

And I totally agree.

Greg King will take the place of D.T. Shackleford. I doubt we hold on to him, as sad as it seems. I'd love to have them both.

"Coach Orgeron said he was glad to see me again," King said with a laugh. "They were telling me that I'd have the chance to earn playing time right away and that they felt like they would make me a better player. (Coach) Orgeron has always told me that I'd have a chance to play right away. He told me I have the ability, I can run, and that I'm special. It's hard not to listen when coaches like (Orgeron and Monte Kiffin) talk."

further proof that CLK is going to put freshmen on the field. He's following the CPC plan.

And with every quote King gives, the end of it seems to be something very much praising the Vols. Just the last two from today:

"It showed me that they want me and I'm really feeling Tennessee right now. They are very impressive."

And

"It's hard not to listen when coaches like (Orgeron and Monte Kiffin) talk."

:)

I have a feeling that we are retuning to the days when the Vols had memphis on lock

Not really. You need a certain type of confidence to play major D-1 sports.

TN is in the drivers seat with him....TTU is looming and Miami..is a distant 3rd Lane Kiffin has made this kid a priority...and I'd be surprised if he didnt wear orange..
