Griffith implies VolNation is a large source of motivation for team

even though he graduated 28 percent of the freshmen he had as well.
Which, as has been discussed ad nauseum here, is another flawed, almost stupid, measure. If guys transfer or turn pro, why should that count against you?

It is a stupid measure, but his time at UC was pathetic with all the thugs he recruited there. Bruce may have had Ramar and Duke, but they are angels compared to the players Huggins recruited there. 19 arrests, that is a number more suited for a football team.

But since you will not acknowledge the point... I like Huggins as a coach, it doesn't change the fact he is not a morally sound man. I like Bruce coach, doesn't mean I'm going to defend his morals. To bash one while defend the other is asinine.

Edit (Bold): It isn't almost stupid, it is stupid.

Does it get much worse than murder, allegedly?

Wow, all you do is fill your mind with sensationalists.

That said, if he said that, he's not the only one that has speculated that.

huh? I don't read him... someone on this board had that as their sig one time. I thought about buying his book, but I was told that the guy is a moron so I didn't.

I hope Steven Pearl reads this and does ALL UT fans a favor and quit the team he offers ZERO value to this team. He plays 15-20 min per game and is taking up time from someone who may can feel a stat line. He'll play his minutes and maybe have one line with a 1 in it he's pitiful and we have daddy ball at the Division 1 level. Put someone in that could potentially help us SP is NOT the answer. I thought daddy ball stopped in little league.

Ridiculous. He does all the little things no one else will do a lot of the time. It's not his fault the refs made sure to take out their hatred for BP on him.

Steven didn't read his VN today, clearly.

It's our fault for praising them these past few days.

Come on guys, you know better than that.

What does he do that helps this team win - he chases the ball on defense likes its training league (8 year old ball) hes about as good on offense as the average 3rd grader. Did you notice most of there runs were when he was in the game. The guy is terrible no its not all his fault we lost but my point is he does NOT help this team. Read me his stats and explain how they help the team I'd love to know

He didn't look great tonight but on a lot of nights, he gives that tough effort that stats will never show. Playing defense, diving on the floor, making great plays in general. Yeah, he isn't the greatest player in the world but he usually finds a way to contribute when he is on the floor. Nobody played well towards the end of this game. I could never fault him for that though. He generally does what a role player is suppose to do. JMO.

I'm now really confused. My section, which pretty much seems to be Ground Zero for the "Let's Deify Bruce Pearl" movement if you watch the pregame reaction to the announcing of his name, cleared out like a bomb threat had been called in when UT was down 6 with about 50 seconds left. Were they trying to motivate the team by being negative? Does it make me a bad fan because I stayed and held out hope UT could win?
