Grimm

Actually, I'm thinking it'd be cool to have all 3 Grimm in an episode or two. Maybe where the crap hits the fan and all Grimm need to be on deck? You have to admit, Nick's mom is so badass.

She was still Juliet she just looked and maybe sounded like Adalind. I think it was a superficial spell for any offspring that might occur.

I think we may see split episodes, kinda like how we see them now show Adeline and her story line for about 1/4-1/2 of some episodes. They may cut to them showing the journey getting him back home, and then some of her clearing the Hunjagers out.

I don't know, the spell did something to her. She seems to be having that "Species" pregnancy where she felt her self get knocked up it seems like and now it seems to be going faster than normal.

Not a normal pregnancy, and true magic is more than superficial. Not sure where they're going yet. Hope they don't screw it up.

Also, I'm not sure I like the idea of Nick being a dad right now. A baby could be a distraction and take away from the story in the long run. Sure, it could make for a great initial story, but where do you go from there?

I never like babies introduced into TV shows, it's just pointless. Justified, Walking Dead, this now. Meh

whoaaaaa. I'm sure y'all will find something to complain about, but I can't fathom what it is.

Solid, old school Grimm episode! I love it! I'm upset that they choose the same path for Wu to go down for the second time, I really wanted him to chose a different reaction this time around. Maybe he'll come around and accept it or maybe he goes nuts again, sigh.
Jerry will be glad Juliette isn't pregnant, but seriously that's got to just be some kind of side effect to the spell. I didn't think there was a way to "turn" someone into a wessen. Nick slams his badge down on the captain's desk... watch him go full on Kelly Burkhardt on some wessen!

FYI: Have to wait a month for the next episode on Jan 9th.

Great episode, I really liked it. Not sure what track they are taking with Wu, but it seems like he was with Nick and them in the previews for the next episode so maybe he gets a handle on things. I hope it is just a side effect on Juliet kinda like how Nick had linked visions cause if they do some how make her into a hexen beast or something I think that would be a mistake. Also I agree Nick is about to go full bore bad ass on those wessen nazis. Kill'em all and let god sort them out bad ass.

Best episode in a while. The key, not a lot of side distractions, back to the heart of the show. I like the way they done the Chupacabra, didn't expect that to be the story behind it. Glad it's not a baby, hoping its a side effect and she isn't going to turn Wessen. That would be kind of stupid. IMO I know it won't happen, but I wish they would end the Adiland/ baby story line and get back to more episodes like this. Every time they switch to that storyline I zone out. Next week looks really good.

I didn't even realize there was a new episode last night.

Last year threw you off because they played the Christmas episode last before the holiday break episode.

That baby episodes can be interesting when the baby is actually in them but the dude in the castle doesn't even have the baby. She's totally barking up the wrong tree. I guess they had to give Alexis Denisof something to do since Joss Whedon is busy with Avengers.

Well most shows will have their Christmas episode as their last episode before Christmas, so yeah it was strange to have another one before. Although Brooklyn 99 did the same thing, they showed a Thanksgiving episode but the next week on the Sunday actually right before Thanksgiving they had a new episode.

But still, you usually don't have scenarios like that.

Really good episode. I was iffy about this storyline, but its pretty interesting. Same with Wu, I actually kind of like that they brought him into the fold.

One question. Why did Nick turn really pale when he was mad and had the guy by the throat against the wall?

Also glad they chose to bring in Wu instead of having him go crazy again. It would have been terrible writing. Loved how he continued to look like a deer in the headlights anytime the wessen thing was brought up.

Not sure why he turned at that time but that's the power he "acquired" from the voodoo zombie infection the previous season. He turns pale, his heart rate drops to almost nothing, he can apparently survive underwater without breathing while in this state.

Oh yeah we talked about how they abandoned that a little while back. They must read this thread.

I've always thought Wu was funny, then they took him to crazy town. Nice to see him giving a little comic relief again.

Great episode, I think the Wu part is spot on. Nick turning pale "voodoo mode" may happen when he is close to loosing control??? Maybe like a bezerker thing? Now the Juliet thing is kinda interesting, I really wonder where that is going. The dream sequence really had me for a second. It took her a little longer than you normally see people wake up from those things, it had me wondering just for a second it was real. Gotta give them credit for that.

I knew as soon as she ripped out her throat it was a dream. No way they kill off a main character like that.

I'll admit...I fell for the throat rip.

I thought the episode was ok, not great though. I don't like then dragging the Nazi Wannabe stuff another week. And that kid who was guarding Monroe was one of the worst actors I've ever seen.

Well that is the 1st thing that popped in my mind too, but most of the time you see something like that in a dream they wake up almost immediately. She didn't, they drug it out almost 60 seconds or so. The longer they drug it it out the more I was like "oh damn, holy crap....."

No I wasn't impressed by the kid either, but I honestly like them drawing out the Nazi stuff. Some times they seem to wrap stuff up too quick in this show, and makes the climax of that story line fizzle and make you think all of that for this?? Kinda like they ended the zombie/voodoo abduction of Nick way too early. I think this story line could use another episode or maybe 2.
