Grimm

Meh. The Wessen this week was lame, and I don't enjoy Nick being normal.

I'm very afraid this is going to be a season long endeavor to get Nick back to being a Grimm. They're going to continue to shove Trubel down our throats. As a rabid fan of the show though I'll deal with it. Not giving up on Grimm.

I kinda think they just scratched the surface on the Wessen. The book says it's one of the worst Wessen they've ever dealt with so it has to show more next week right? Also, no mention about the ending?

Not sure there was more to it than what we saw my impression was that just morally speaking it's the worst wessen for what it does to it's victims. Unless Sasha Roiz is just calling it quits on Capt. Renard's character then I don't think he's dying as easily as the show made it seem. We still don't know what sort of power he has as a wessen. Maybe one of them is regenerative?

Normal Nick is boring. They need to wrap this up.

I don't either and I agree.

I don't either and I agree.

There's no way this one of the worst Wessens for what it does to the victims. The guy didn't even die (yet). Also, even if Renard isn't dead, it's still a big deal. They can't just let him go back to being Captain the Police Department.

I'm saying it's bad because what it does to the victim and the family. You don't think giving someone instant dementia is worse than killing them?

Why on earth would the Captain not be able to return to his job?

Because they called his death? Can't really hide that.

This!

Well he's wessen but the human doctors won't see it so when he comes back to life they'll chalk it up to a miracle.

I can see him coming back, but not immediately and then they have to keep him underground or something.

Not a bad episode. I think everything went pretty well. No gaping holes.

I will say I do believe that "thought stealer" bit off more than he could chew, I thought that was funny.

I thought it was pretty good too.

Memory dude at the end cracked me up. I liked how they ended that. It does annoy me how they keep letting Trouble go off and do stuff by herself when she clearlyis mistake prone.
.

You guys don't have to spoiler alert after the show is aired. We've learned as forum readers not to visit a tv show thread until you've caught up on the latest episode. :)

So Captain Renard's mother drained some of her own life to give it to him to heal. This show is going to turn south quick if they continue to let Truble do things alone. The girl is going to get killed and there won't be a functioning Grimm.
I'm still hoping they clear up Nick's situation before the show gets too far into the season.

It was a two headed, bi-color, magical snake so I'm not sure how realistic it was ever going to be.

Yeah but it didn't look real!!!!

I have to wonder, is that the wesen form of transfusion? I am also curious what is going to come from Renards mother. I like her comment that went something like "to beat a hexen beast like her you need one like me" I have to wonder if it's going to come down to a full on hexin beast dual or something down the road.

Makes for good suspense not having Nick with powers, but they seem to be rushing the storyline to get his powers back IMO. But, I'll repeat as I have so many times. Wu deserves and needs to know.

Also, agree with coug. It wasn't a real two headed snake, it was some magic potion, so I'm not sure how real it could/would ever be.

I didn't say anything about realistic, I said it was bad. As in bad special effects.

Guys with Octopus faces aren't real either but those effects are much better.

In a way but I think that was more of a "strength" transfer since he started to come back and she properly hit the floor.

Last night was disappointing. Not much storyline into the different Wessen and what story was there was cheesy.

So y'all probably loved it since we're always disagreeing about episodes

I absolutely lov...did not like it. The Wessen looked cool but that was about it.

Finally watched all three episodes of the season last night and I'm really liking how the season is shaping up.

I see where you all are coming from but I think it was more of a character introduction(Captain's mom) episode along with a storyline building episode. I don't think the writers wanted you to be blown away by the wessen story as it wasn't really the focus this week. I'm not sure why Nick has lost a good bit of his fighting skills as well as his Grimm vision. Is there more explanation there or was that simply because he couldn't see the wessen?

I agree with coug, I think this was more of an intro/ build up episode. I like how things are shaping up with the overall story. I'm kinda curious about the FBI chick and where that is going. I think they also need to address the "Wu" issue soon. They keep teasing it, but something needs to be done. Either blow him off with a bomb proof lie, or (what I think is better) bring him in to the inner circle.

So, it was just like most of last season, only the side Wessen story was lame. Got it.

Then skip that part all together, we don't have to have a new Wessen every week.

I would assume being a Grimm greatly helps his fighting skill, (speed, strength, reflexes, etc) no more Grimm equals less skills. He got worked early on and seemed to get stronger the longer he was a Grimm. Wasn't he even developing secondary "powers" at one point?

Note: I know he's always been Grimm, but it was more or less dormant. I think. The first episodes are A little fuzzy.
