Grimm

A lot better episode. The reactions to her being pregnant were pretty funny. The killer was way to obvious, but I enjoyed Monroe some air time without the ball and chain.

Anyone feel like Juliette and Renard's side effects are somehow linked? I think Renard's mother is far more evil than we ever got to see and I think she knew exactly what she was doing not only when she saved Renard but when she brought the Grimm back in Nick and turned Juliette into a Hexenbeist. What if the answer to all this is Juliette gives up her power to Adalind and in return the baby becomes Juliette's instead kind of like a trade off. I realize how messed up that sounds but it'd be an interesting turn of events.

As for the trailer it wouldn't surprise me if Nick's mom has her own resources stashed somewhere or maybe if Nick at least made copies of the books and stashed them somewhere. Honestly, what the hell is he going to do without all the literature, info, potions, and special weapons?

Interesting theory that is a definite possibility. As for your last question...what he always does...ask Monroe and Rosa Lee. He would be the worst Grimm ever if those 2 were not around. Lol He doesn't even really break out a special weapon anymore, maybe once every 8 episodes.

I know, the special weapons and chemical use were only here or there but they sure seemed like critical tools when utilized. One thing he did use A LOT were the wessen books. There are quite a few wessen that even Monroe and Rosalee don't know about.

Dude that's so funny, I was expecting somebody to say "come on Trubel isn't that bad." And my response was going to be, "she's one notch above Beth." Lol

All the way to the end Beth was far better than Andrea ever was.

Beth vs Gabriel?

Well that was unexpected.

And I can stand Trubel if she's only on screen about 3 minutes.

I'm pissed they killed off en epic character off screen. If in fact she's dead. It doesn't seem like Nick's mom would have just strolled up into that house with the supposed kid without doing some recon. I don't know how you could fake a dead head in a box(maybe hexenbeist magic?) but we're to assume it's real until we see otherwise. I know she wasn't a regular on the show but her character was awesome and taking her out like that is as bad as Beth's death on TWD.

Could it be that Juliette and Kelly concocted some grand plan to get close to the royals and only the two of them know about it?

Iris (The Flash) and Jack (Lost) are the only people close to Beth, oh Juliette is up there too.

Iris has joined the team now so maybe her character will redeem herself.

It was lame killing her off screen, and that they obviously couldn't get Mary Elizabeth Masteantonio to actually be on the episode. They never actually showed her and just used a sound clip of her voice.

Even though she's recurring and not regular, I guess since she's going to be on the new Limitless show on CBS that she wasn't going to be available in the near future. It still seems like she should have gotten a better sendoff than that.

I'm still holding out hope that the head in the box is some kind of a faked head or magic was put on it or the person that went in wasn't Kelly. If it wasn't and they are sticking with that as the end of Kelly then it's just absolutely horrible writing and an insult to the fans. The most fierce Grimm on the show and a super power child get taken like that?! There has got to be some kind of deeper plot here. How does Kelly single-handedly raise a child with super powers? Wouldn't it make more sense to have someone with Hexenbeist powers there to assist?

We have a winner!

If that was the case and you're right about them killing her off then, Grimm could have waited a year until Limitless gets cancelled and simply allowed her back on the show when she's out of yet another job.

There's also the possibility they told her they were killing off her character and she declined to reprise the role just to do that. That might explain why it was so lame and off screen. Perhaps they originally wanted her to die in a much more epic way.

Or she's not really dead.

Based on tonight. I think she's really dead.

Unfortunately it looks like they are sticking with that as her death. Then they go and rub it in by letting Kenneth say his mom was a "let down".

That will forever be a pock-mark on the writers of this show in my book.

One question though, when Trubel was in the car with the beaver guy and she got the call and said it was Nick, it was clearly a female voice on the other end. Who was she talking to?

And speaking of letdown, the Nick/Kenneth fight was as lame as it gets.

She was talking to the hispanic chic who showed up at the end of the episode in front of Nick's house. We saw her before attempting to recruit Trubel for something or maybe a debt Trubel owed? I'm not sure what the story is there.

I just thought it was crazy lame how Kenneth could beat the crap out of Captain Renard, who is a Zauberbiest, with not much effort, and it's implied he is the one who killed Nick's mother and obviously that wasn't with much trouble. But Nick is able to somewhat easily dispatch him.

And I'm not buying that Nick was just so enraged about his mother. Just a really sloppy way to wrap that whole thing up. And people better stay dead. If they start messing with people dying but not really dying, then this show has officially jumped the shark.
