Gun control debate (merged)

More lenient gun laws=more shootings= more school shootings. It’s pretty simple, and statistically accurate. The stats cannot be denied, we have an absurdly higher amount of school shootings than other countries. Keep your head in the sand if you like.

Actually you couldn't be more wrong. We now have the toughest most stringent gun laws in the history of our country and more school shootings. They were virtually unheard of 30-40 years ago when gun laws were (what you would call) lax.

Fewer guns in in places like Chicago with many more shootings than Nashville with many more guns and lax gun control laws.

Are legal owners more likely than illegal owners to use their weapons to commit homicide? It's a serious question, I didn't know the answer to.

I'm not opposed to gun laws, but it seems to me we can't or aren't properly employing/applying and prosecuting gun laws already on the books. With that in mind why would we even consider stricter laws would have any meaningful effect?

This is my Old high school, they moved it to a new built campus decades ago.

I have friends who's kids went to this school, one who currently attends. I haven't watched any of the coverage but according to them their kid says this was growing for some time and the person involved was a problem........
