I do not like "we want a Federal law" to fix what is plainly stated in the Constitution and understood from court decisions. Please let this pass. If it doesn’t then make drivers, marriage, professional licenses state specific and non reciprocal.

I did not like the Obergefell decision because I cared about who was marrying who, but because it was a Federal intrusion on states' rights. However, liberals got what they wanted, decision was made and because of it, New York State should be forced to accept my Tennessee enhanced carry permit.
No way!Well the Uber right wing, maga cultist, totally not scientific,or serious institution checks notes, ....Johns Hopkins, found that universal background checks had no impact on gun homicide or gun suicides over more than a 10 year period.
" 1991, California implemented a law that mandated a background check for all firearm purchases with limited exceptions (comprehensive background check or CBC policy) and prohibited firearm purchase and possession for persons convicted within the past 10 years of certain violent crimes classified as misdemeanors (MVP policy)....
Conclusions: CBC and MVP policies were not associated with changes in firearm suicide or homicide. "
I havent found that limited exception fully spelled out, but what i did find was : The limited exceptions didn't include gun shows or most person to person sales. Direct family to family sale of some limited guns were still allowed. No idea if that is the only exception.

John Hopkins works for the gun lobby!!Well the Uber right wing, maga cultist, totally not scientific,or serious institution checks notes, ....Johns Hopkins, found that universal background checks had no impact on gun homicide or gun suicides over more than a 10 year period.

How are the people that cannot even define what a woman is....supposed to define what an "assault weapon" is???
Fwiw the average 5 year old can tell you what a woman is. Nobody can say what exactly an "assault weapon" is, since its entirely fictional like "palestinians".
" Ban whatchamacallits"
" Ban widgets"
" Ban the Boogeyman, because he scares liberals too"
Also...posting that with the caption " Its time" is the same if the graphic had said "prohibition...Its time." Both have previously been illegal for a short time, until the adults were in charge again and logic prevailed such that the people said "no more." To post that "it's time" to revert back to ignorant failed policy that was previously in effect is the EXACT opposite of progressive. Its regression, its stupid, and ignorance and fear regarding firearms by people like Luther in no way limits my 2A rights. So ridiculous.
