Well.........play like s***.....get beat. What a miserable game. They played great the first half then came out and flopped. I give credit to the giants defense and their game plan. Oh well.....go Packers??

Before Joe gets retired as my avatar tomorrow, I just want to bump this thread one more time and say thanks. No other coach in the country could have carried a team better during such a difficult stretch. Now show NASCAR you can dominate that sport even in a Toyota.

There's a rumor floating around that Jackson from the Falcons could be taking over Saunder's spot. How many OC's will that make for Jason Campbell in his football career? 50?

How long has Jackson been in atlanta? Because that would seemingly give Mora a better shot at the HC position. I DEFINITELY don't want Jim Mora to be the next head coach.

i looked it up and '07 was his first year with the Falcons. Didn't realize he spent all those years with the Bengals after leaving Washington the first time. And quite honestly, I didn't know it was the same Jackson.

glad to see I'm not the only one. No way will Saunders, Bugel or Williams stay around with Fassel.

Also, here's another interesting tidbit. Complete control looks like a pipe dream which means no Pete Carroll (which was a totally different pipe dream).

You have to give it to Fassel, he took a Kerry Collins' QBed team to the Super Bowl. How many other coaches could do that?


He is probably the best candidate available.

I guess Fassel when you look at them by themselves. But I still think there has to better options that they aren't being looked at.

Why is the media starting to freak out because the 'Skins haven't hired anybody? They're acting worse than many on this board with how long it took Fulmer to find an OC.

We're only two weeks removed from his resignation (which was proceeded by a miraculous playoff run) and still a week and a half away from the SB. Supposedly Fassel may be losing ground because it's going to be impossible to get the OC and DC he wants. And the more I think about it, I'm fine with Williams. I like the current coaching staff and I don't want to see the staff completely overhauled. I hate Dan Snyder, don't get me wrong, but for once he's getting a bum rap. Give the man some time.

Would you rather hire some Joe Blow Mike Smith who hasn't proven in any shape or form that he's ready for an HC position (sorry for the low blow Falcons fans) or some young guy with absolutely no history aside from this year in Jason Garrett just to get a quick hire?

After 4 years and 4 interviews, Dan Snyder releases Williams. Sad day. I was just getting used to the "New" Snyder but I guess we are back to the "Old" Snyder.

Great... Anyone want to guess who will be projected to be at the bottom of the NFC East next year??

Also I hear in people in DC are turning their redskins gear upside down to protest.

If Danny boy is willing to pony up 2 Mil to send Williams packing, then he should be able to pony up 10 Mil to get Cower.

In all honesty, the way this has been handled has been a joke. Does anyone have a spare Billion to buy them from this Rogue Owner.

It's hard being a Redskin fan these days. They're a far cry from the organization I grew up loving in the 80's.

amen to that.i miss the glory days,i dont know if we will ever get to see those days again with snyder there. i wish they would pick a coach already,and i dont think i would like fossil
