Hail to the Washington Commanders

After almost 5 years of living here I'm finally heading to a redskins game tonight (even if it is preseason). Any advice on what to do pre/during/post game? All I know is that we have club level seating.

Have fun DC, last time I was there, I had a really good time. The only thing that kind of sucked was parking and getting to the stadium and back to the car after the game. It's worth it though. I don't really have any advice since I've only been there once, but I'm jealous.

My wife and I stayed downtown last year and rode the metro to the game. That is not a bad option if you don't want to deal with driving and parking near the stadium.

It was not a bad walk from the metro to the stadium at all. It gave me the chance to pound a couple of good/less expensive beers.

Yeah, I wish I would've done that too. Oh well.

Turns out we have a parking pass and they want to drive. I wouldn't mind the metro trip and cheap(er) beer though, since I'll be taking the metro to meet up them already.

One positive note is that of the four going to the game, we are all UT grads. Maybe I should wear some tennessee football apparel and yell vols, ***** a few times to rile people up.

Yep, they looked good on that first drive. Campbell has some zip on that ball. Great catch by Moss on the sideline. I like how they attacked on that drive. It's nice to see some ball movement like that from the Skins.

I'm a little concerned about how the Pats are only sending 2 receivers deep and they're getting wide open though. D needs to tighten up.

Good lord, double Moss and let's move on with life. It's the Brady and Moss show. This is ridiculous.

Brady and Moss are a very special combo, but from what I saw from the O and D of the skins, I feel confident.

Orakpo and Haynesworth are going to be a special combo, Campbell has the arm and the moves, the WR are developing nicely, and the OL is providing time and opening holes

Mayo looked good for the Pats, and we should have drafted Ainge instead of Brennan

Well, I'm somewhat encouraged from what I saw last night. However, I've been a Skins fan for a long time and I know better than to get my hopes up. Those days ended in the 80's. I agree with you though, we have some good things going on right now. Hopefully they'll be able to cut down on some penalties while they're at it. Over 100 yards in penalties never helps. We'll see.

I'm with you. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst

typical low scoring skins battle I will take 1-1 for now. We are at the Lions next, then Bucs, then at Charlotte and then we got the Chiefs at home. We should be 4-2 maybe 5-1

Zorn is getting torn up in the non-Snyder-owned media. He just looks lost and over his head

Couldn't agree more. Zorn is a nice guy, but the Redskins just look like a terribly coached team out there. He won't last very long unless the Skins make a drastic turn around.
