Hard work can make any QB with the prerequisite skill set for sure, and if he turns out to be a film room rat to the extent of a Peyton Manning, I'll eat my words.

But I just don't see that "it" when Mallett plays, you know? When a big game is on the line and he seemingly always manages a Romo-esque pick.

D-Hall earning MVP honors at the Pro Bowl. Yes, the Pro Bowl is pretty much a joke, but he did have a very impressive performance. 6 tackles, INT, and forced fumble and recovery for a TD if I remember correctly.

Adding to that... Redskins were the top 3 tacklers on the NFC team. DHall, Orakpo and Fletcher combined for:

16 Tackles, 2 INT, 1FF and 2 TDs.

If we could get a consistent DL play, a natural 3-4M and another good CB I think our Defense will be a lot better in years to come. Fletcher is the man but he's old and I don't know how many more miles he has... though he doesn't seem to have slowed down at all.

I really wish the Redskins had gotten Sanchez a couple years ago.....there was a lot of pre draft talk of them trading up for him

Free Agent update. Looks like we are going to go after the Ravens NT Haloti Ngata

Haloti Ngata is a free agent this offseason and some think that the Baltimore Ravens will not offer him the big contract that he deserves. Ngata is arguably the best defensive lineman in the country and is without a doubt the best nose tackle.
