Halloween Thread

Tried to load a GIF but failed - so here is a pic of my motorized zombie groundbreaker. Torso made of 1/2" pvc that slides up and down inside some 1" pvc. I used a wiper motor and some cheap aluminum bar stock to get the up and down motion. Goes up and down about 10". I put dirt around the base at Halloween and it looks like a zombie pushing up out of the grave.

Are there any GIF hosting sites anymore that don't make you sign up for an account to post a GIF?

Hopefully this GIF will work. This is the zombie groundbreaker when I first built it. I've since added lots of fake blood and dirt on the shirt so it looks creepier but this shows the motion. Is creepier a word? Maybe it looks more creepy

Finished another zombie for my graveyard. Used some 3/4" pvc - a small piece of hardware cloth to give the back some shape - a styrofoam head with a mask - some clothes from Goodwill - a couple of plastic hands - some epoxy mixed with red paint for the blood - and stained the shirt with oil and dye. I'll cover the shirt tail with dirt for Halloween to make it look like it's emerging from a grave.

I'm up to 4 zombie groundbreakers for my Halloween graveyard this year. I try to make each a little different. PVC - pool noodles - a pillow wrapped in a garbage bag for the stomach - Goodwill shirt and tie - cheap plastic hands - styrofoam head - mask. I still have to scuff up and dirty up the shirt and tie
