Tennessee 2014 Schedule
Aug. 30: UTAH STATE
Sept. 6: ARKANSAS STATE
Sept. 13 at Oklahoma
Sept. 27 at Georgia
Oct. 4 FLORIDA
Oct. 11 CHATTANOOGA
Oct. 18 at Ole Miss
Oct. 25 ALABAMA
Nov. 1 at South Carolina
Nov. 15 KENTUCKY
Nov. 22 MISSOURI
Nov. 29 at Vanderbilt

Easy wins - Chat, Ark State, Kentucky, Franklin-less Vandy
Winnable - Florida, Utah State, Ole Miss
Could win - Mizzou, Uga
Tough to win - USC, Bammer, OU

Ole Miss on the road will be tough, but look where we fall on their schedule:

Oct. 4 – ALABAMA
Oct. 11 – at Texas A&M
Oct. 18 – TENNESSEE
Oct. 25 – at LSU
Nov. 1 – AUBURN

Gives us a better chance, IMO

Mizzou loses a lot of star players next year. Franklin, Sams, Ealy, and their star RB. Green Beckham may be in jail, so that could be winnable at Neyland.

I didn't post that there was or wasn't either way, I'm simply asking those pinning down easy wins how on earth they came to that conclusion.

Agree. Based on what I saw in 2013, there's no such thing as an easy win for UT at this point. We're another year or 2 away from looking at our schedule and proclaiming sure fire wins. Unfortunately, I feel pretty confident I can peg the losses though.

When did this TN team do something to make one believe there is such a thing as an easy win for them in any game ?

If the coaches, players and the majority of the Tennessee fans have your attitude, I would not renew my season tickets which have been in the family since 1933. Fortunately, none of them do and we look forward to the new season. Attitude is the most important aspect of success for people, teams ,businesses, and Nations, Success is rarely achieved with negative attitudes. I wish you a happy and properest 2014.

Both Utah state and Ark state looked impressive this year and with the way things have been going with UT lately, I wouldn't over look anyone on this schedule....with the exception of Chatt town:)

With that being said, 7 wins would be the expectation anything more a bonus anything less... a failure.

I think we win 7 this year.

Utah State, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Florida, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Kentucky.

Even though beating UF will get the monkey off our back, the Ole Miss win will end up being our best of the season.

So not seeing easy wins yet for the program calls for a sermon of dumbassary such as this ?

I think it's funny how you guys saw Oklahoma play one game out of their mind and think they're the best team in the country. That wasn't the Alabama we played and that wasn't the Oklahoma the rest of the BIGeasy played. Watch their other games and note their QBs Bell and Knight couldn't throw a 10 yard pass without it hitting the dirt before it got to their receivers. (See Worley pre-UGA game). Stop putting them up on this pedestal. Louisville blew Florida out in the same game last year which wouldn't happen 9 out of 10 times. OU will be beatable next year. Sure it's in Norman, but their not Bama.

Great points.

Bowl games are tough. There was no way Bama was pumped to be in that game knowing Auburn was playing for the NC. Similar to UF last year.

If OU and Bama played in Oct. it would have been a blow-out for Bama. Circumstances dictate the outcome in a lot of games.

We should go 2-1 in the first three games to open the season and 2-1 in the last three to close the season but it is anyone's guess how we do in the middle 6....I would hope for 3-3 or 4-2 but would expect 2-4.....Any of the outcomes gets us a bowl....

Maty Mauk did OK in his place against UT this year. I don't a huge drop off in production for Mizzou in that dept.
