i think it has become obvious that tennessee has found its man.

butch jones has accomplished every reasonable goal already this season.

1. he is recruiting well.

2. going to neyland stadium and getting a win isn't a piece of cake anymore.

3. the team is now consistently improving with each game.

the final fig leaf will be to see their ability to play well on the road.

but, all signs point to tennessee having found their man. it really was nice to see a level of pure joy that the tennessee players and fans showed.

i am jealous watching the vols improve every week while my gators have entered into the blocking is optional portion of the schedule.

i can't emphasize enough how impressive the improvement in several phases has become, but the special teams improvement is really something special.

Butch jones is finally at home. Tennessee is the perfect school for him. It's also a great feeling knowing that our team is improving and looking sharper every game we play, the games are also much more entertaining and sitting at the edge of your seat kind of deal.

I now live in Florida and it's impressive to see a Gator being able to put a few sentences together that make any sense.

Thanks. If I remember correctly I thought you posted that you thought we could take South Carolina.
As for your Gators it is hard to deal with all the turmoil the team has gone through.

Thanks. you guys calling from muschamp's head yet?

i'm there.

i can handle struggling. i can handle losing. i can handle what tennessee is going through right now....which is building toward something with signs of improvement that indicate you are going to get where you are trying to go.

i can't handle shameful. i can't handle embarrassing.

last week was the first time i ever watched a game and became concerned about the physical well being of a player.

any time florida called a pass play, i was worried that tyler murphy wasn't going to be able to get up. i wondered what his mother was thinking watching that game. i knew florida would have issues because i saw missouri put heat on aaron murray. but, there are no words for what i saw.

i was waiting for florida to pull a texas and fire the coordinator during the season. didn't happen.

but, if you want to have a laugh at the expense of the gators watch the home attendance the rest of the season and then watch what unspeakable things florida state does to that squad.

just brutal.

thought tennessee could. didn't think they would. didn't quite buy into the georgia performance completely.

but, they showed me. they are showing everyone.

that's what also has to be impressive. it's a team effort.

one side of the ball isn't carrying the other. both sides of the ball are improving.

wow! thanks! impressive sportsmanship!

i always told people that when there were good things to say, i would say them.

well butch jones and this 2013 team are giving people positive things to say.

i think you'll notice this from all sorts of things that have supposedly "hated tennessee" over the years.

tennessee is giving the media, or anyone else, something good to say.

Sorry to say, but ugly isn't going to describe it. FSU is trying to prove they belong in the NC game discussion, so they're going to attempt to destroy every team they can, and likely especially UF.

Mad, we have a place in NSB. Yearly the mouth breathers bring their gold chains, jean shorts, gold ear piercings, leather faced wives, and mandals to the beach for the annual alumni outing. It's a sight for sore eyes indeed. I've never seen so much denim on the beach at any given time.

They aren't very friendly.

There's still some in the media who just won't say that we are becoming better.

Just my observation.

UF has championship level defensive talent.(when it was healthy)
I think WM can recruit and coach Championship football on that side of the ball.
He hasn't been able to plug the holes on offense with talent or coaching and that side of the ball has regressed.
WM can recruit and coach D, he has to be able to manage the rest or find somebody who can. Ain't done it yet. Does the OC get the boot quick enough to buy him some time or is he riding it out. I can't imagine WM trying to go into next year with the same direction. Whoever it is needs some players.

from everything i can make out, muschamp has one more year.

that's what i have heard.

but, here's the reality. florida's pocketbook is going to get hit something fierce.

the worst thing you can say about any sports team is that they are bad and boring.

many people struggled to watch this team even with a win. to watch this team and lose.....people will only pay to watch this for so long.

i have a double whammy. i have to watch this and the jaguars.

picked a hell of a year to quit sniffing glue

Gee, I will sleep sound tonight. I'm so happy you came on here and put your stamp of approval on UT Football. This makes everything right in the world.

Wait until you're back in complete football hell 99, it take alot of patience to go through what the Vols have.
