happy for you all

The SEC is much better with solid teams, Gators included. Life was good back then when there steady, stronger teams that played decent ball.. and Vandy was (is?) Vandy.

Your Gators haven't fallen that far to Zook levels yet, but the ascent will make it all the more sweet.

They have fallen less than zook levels. Look at the stats for each coach for 3 years. Muschamp has same wins and worse récord against sec. Was on tsr this morning.

There are rumors of locker room issues.

In short, the defensive guys have reached a breaking point

Its something you can manage as long as the Ws come.

When you start losing and your side of the ball is the one pulling most of the weight bad chemistry sets in. Some coaches are able to fight it off and still find enough to win. From what your saying it sounds like it may be unraveling on WM.

It looks like the team is quitting on Muschamp to me. I recognize it because I lived it for the last three years. Once it happens, I think the damage is irreparable. As long as Foley is at Florida...your program will be fine...unfortunately.

Yep.

Yo man, where in MI are you from/did you live? Im in Farmington Hills...born and raised! Graduated from UT in 2000...I was a Sparty my first 2 years before I became an SEC boy! lol

Was at that Lions game Sunday....ugh!!! Same ol Lions haha

I was born in Flint. My dad got his Masters at MSU and he became a Professor at UT in the physics department and we moved to Knoxville when I was 2, so I have been a Vol my whole life.
So cool being at the Lions game. All will be okay cause we got Romo this Sunday.

i think it has become obvious that tennessee has found its man.

butch jones has accomplished every reasonable goal already this season.

1. he is recruiting well.

2. going to neyland stadium and getting a win isn't a piece of cake anymore.

3. the team is now consistently improving with each game.

the final fig leaf will be to see their ability to play well on the road.

but, all signs point to tennessee having found their man. it really was nice to see a level of pure joy that the tennessee players and fans showed.

i am jealous watching the vols improve every week while my gators have entered into the blocking is optional portion of the schedule.

i can't emphasize enough how impressive the improvement in several phases has become, but the special teams improvement is really something special.

Thanks for the kind words. IMO you guys have a stud at QB with Tyler Murphy if he can stay healthy. Good luck with the rest of your season.

When the $ starts staying at home it gets harder to stay idle. As long as the support is there it buys some time.
I don't see them making a move either after this year unless they totally imploded and his team lays down on him.
For him it's a tough spot. Bringing in a new OC in a year where you have to make some hay is nerve racking and a gamble. He may be forced to try it, risk or not.

New coordinater during a critical year... No problem.

Moving to a 3-4 with UT's personnel was plain stupid. Of course there is a reason Sunseri is a lifetime assistant and has very little coordinator experience. I admit that I was duped by the hire. The NC State game lulled me into a state of ignorance.

Dooley looked at his buyout and said. Meh, win win for me.
