I have my mind made up because UGA reporting a violation about one of their own guys doesn't make any sense. I agree with everything you're saying except the UGA turning him in part, because it doesn't make any sense.Everyone in Mims family was pro-GA. This would support him selecting Ga. It would also seem totally stupid of Pruitt offering this guy illegal inducements knowing he was fighting an uphill battle which, knowing Pruitt's level of stupidity, is totally believable. Listen, you have your mind made up so I'll leave you with it.

Think about it...you were recruiting a player that another school was offering money to. He ends up committing to your school despite being offered money from another school. Doesn't that raise an obvious question? Why would UGA do something to invite that question being raised? What violation did their player commit? He didnt sign with Tennessee. The players are prettymuch considered "innocent". Didnt you see Too Too, Gray, etc play this year?
So if we contact Alabama, and tell them Saban is cheating, they’ll fire him?It was going to come out at some point. UT Compliance received the information from Georgia's program. It wasnt an internal coup. I beleive the administration had enough of Pruitt (he was a constant "bitcher" about everything) before that but receiving that from a fellow conference member was the last straw......and should have been.
Now that I think about it, didn’t we have quite a few Georgia commits, schedule visits to Tennessee? I feel like I remember a bunch on here being excited that we were gonna flip these Georgia pledges. The procedure is schools report violations they discover to SEC office. Maybe the actual report to UT came from the SEC office but the report did come from the Sims kid telling Ga what he was provided when he visited Tennessee and what he learned from players here. REmember, Smart and Pruitt despise each other. I would never doubt that Smart/Ga would investigate Pruitt's recruiting, especially in Ga, by asking their players what they learned in the process.
The reason it is handled this way is for schools to be aware of issues so they can be addressed before they are blown up in the media (smart).
When you make that choice, the only way it ends is what you are now witnessing. I hope it's not the case. There's also the angle that boosters are throwing out anything and everything to get rid of the guy.I agree, but what an idiot. The girl is definitely good looking, but you can’t do it. Or if you make that choice you end it quickly, don’t bring her across the damn country.
No, Aubie hasn't gone "full UT" yet. Havent seen a burning mattress. But this story still has a ways to go.It's an Alabama effect for sure. Auburn has been nuts for a long time, pre-Saban. Their issues don't seem to blow up as spectacularly as ours do, but I think they have been crazier for a longer period of time than we have.
Until Auburn offers a coach, pulls the offer due to Twitter outrage, fires an AD in the midst of the coaching search, Tommy Tuberville returns as AD to finish the search, the coach Tubby hired is fired after recruiting violations are leaked from an internal source, and then "steps down" in disgrace, Auburn won't be as dysfunctional as us.![]()
If he’s having a sexual relationship with someone that reports to him, that’s a major no no. Now if he had won 10 games this past season then they would probably just deal with it behind closed doors but any business, let alone a public university, is going to allow for something like that.A few things:
1. It’s 2022, no need for folks on here to be making sexually charged comments towards this woman. Would you want your daughter or wife objectified in a similar way?
2. Similarly, it’s 2022, and none of our business what two adults choose to do behind closed doors.
Nothing more than a play on “morality” by boosters who didn’t want him to begin win.

It all likelilhood, there's also a Bobby Petrino-type angle to this, where she got the job outside of the usual university procedures/channels. The affair (assuming it took place) is probably enough to can him, but if she illegitimately got the job then that definitely will do it. Of course, none of this sees the light of day if they won 10 games last year.If it's true, it goes way beyond two consenting adults. He hired this woman at BSU right after she graduated in '19. Less than two years later he moved her across the country to take on a job for which she has questionable qualifications at a school to which she has absolutely no connection. And Auburn is a state school, so she is a state employee being paid with state funds, and he is her boss.
It may be none of our business, but it's sure someone's business.
None of us probably ever hear anything about this if Tank stays in bounds. It all likelilhood, there's also a Bobby Petrino-type angle to this, where she got the job outside of the usual university procedures/channels. Forget 10 games, if they'd simply finished off the last 90 seconds of regulation in the Iron Bowl no one involved with Auburn would give this a second thought.
Call me crazy, but I think the natives are still restless even if he won that game. They still looked really bad down the stretch, and I bet all of these coaches and players who have left the program still would have left.None of us probably ever hear anything about this if Tank stays in bounds.
