Hart said it would be a proven successful HC. That eliminated Smart. Some of you are going to have a melt down when you find out that it isn't Gruden.

Hart emphasized during today's press conference that HEAD coaching experience was a paramount in the search. I believe him & his bringing in another 'experiment' would generate more furor than we've had to this point. So...no kirby smart, nor even durwoood kirby.

Sounds like a little prejudiced too me. All I want is the best for UT and I don't care where he comes from = Alabama, Florida. Just get the best possible. I think Hart will do what is best for his employer, I think that is Tennessee.

Hart will get Saban to come to Tennessee for $20 million a season and then Alabama will forfeit it's football team and become an all girls school.

I would take that bet LOL, Smart will not be the HC here, maybe somewhere but not here. I am not 100% sure it will be Gruden, but I am 1000% sure it will not be Smart

I think with Hart waiting so long to fire DD that tells us that his prime candidates are current college HC that wanted to finish there regular seasons before announcing. I hope I'm wrong and we get Big G!!!!

If I recall the PC correctly, DH said he would be looking for a "proven head coach" or something to that effect, which would rule out Smart, if he sticks to this criteria.
