He didn't get hired at lsu until jan5, 2009. Unless u are giving him credit for possibly sitting in the booth during lsu s national championship in 2008, chavis has only won one Nc! Lsu defense ranked higher in the sec from 2003-2007 than lsu defense under chavis 2009-2013. Maybe we should go after the defensive coordinator that was at lsu from 2003-2007. Chavis can win almost every game that his teams suppose to win, but when it's a toss up I've seen him give up more 4th qtr leads than I care to see again at ut. You guys have a memory problem. Y'all are all blowing smoke up his arse like he was Vince Lombardi. Just go to last year at lsu. In the 4 big games vs tex am, Bama, Clemson, s. Carolina, lsu defense gave up 30 total points with 3 minutes or less in 4 th qtr. I don't think anyone can argue that lsu gets some of the best defensive players in the country, they are talent rich. Why the result in those games?. I like chavis but I will defend my position with facts.

LSU did not play SCAR or CLEM last year. LSU pawned aTm defensively.
