Regardless of whether you like it or not the MAGA hat has become a symbol of hate in general not just racism.

The MAGA hat is a reason for many of my friends to ignore people, refuse business, and refuse social interaction. Anecdotal at best, but still.

Like I said, anecdotal at best. Just my experience. I can't really fault them for it, especially with the "you gay so no cake" issue, and numerous other things. Seems like a double standard to me. Conservatives can do what ever but god forbid a progressive have an opinion. It probably is a slippery slope, but that works both ways.

Say that AOC adopted this as her campaign's hat, and Antifa or some such group of losers began wearing the hats also to show support. AOC is you and your child's favorite politician for whatever reason so you both wear hats to show support. Now imagine that a group of people decide that your AOC hat is symbolic of the Nazis in Antifa and that theyre gonna assault you and your child and harass you constantly even though you weren't interacting and you don't know each other. Now imagine that the other political party intentionally uses any means that they can to associate your hat with every vile group of degenerates they can get in front of a camera.

Does that sound like a good road to go down?
