Have you ever seen anything like this?

Did anyone notice the clock when we inbounded the ball to Stokes at the end of regulation. The clock started counting down the very instant it left Richardson's hand. It had no impact on the game, but it sure could have.

I noticed this right away too. It could have had a major impact but we ended up losing either way.

Congrats for being clueless...A timeout is the right thing to do in that scenario. Maybe Martin should give Barton the silent treatment for going mia for several games.

The right call is to let your team run around from 12 seconds to 4 seconds and as soon as one shoots a shot, you call timeout? Ok...

I don't think I would use cancer as a comparison to our current basketball situation.... but since you did I would say that Martin is the cancer that needs to be cut out, radiated or eradicated to prevent the whole program from dying.

Way to miss the direction of the analogy. Your reading comprehension skills must make you and your parents proud.

I'm not going anywhere. I've got nothing to hide, I don't change my screen name, I don't come on here to bash coaches and nothing else, etc. If Martin gets fired, I won't lose sleep. If I was the AD, I'd probably fire him if he didn't make the Dance. But the fact is, I'm not. I don't make those decisions. I watch and support. That's it. I support every coach, some less than others, but will never wish them to lose like many on here, nor call them names to justify my pathetic life like several on here. Do you give to charity/cancer research? You complain this much that a cure hasn't been found and that you "deserve a cure" because of all the money you give? That's what you all sound like on here. Plain as that.

We criticize a coach and you're under the assumption we have pathetic lives? Grow up. This is a forum and this is how we vent amongst our frustration, and who are you to calm us down damnit.

When people only come on here just to say things like "Clownzo sucks", it not only reflects how childish they really are, but also that they have nothing better to do, aka a pathetic life. So yes.

You are doing the same thing by calling out those people.

Unlike Dooley,CCM is nice guy,but like Dooley his teams find ways to lose the close ones. On a side note Don Devoe is a colossal idiot.

Fine. My opinion is that you and your wanna be posse are a bunch of immature morons who think they're big and tough calling coaches who give more than they have to the university names because they are too insecure in their own lives (or too ignorant) to attempt to make an argument without sounding like an elementary school child. How's that for an opinion

I think you ending your post sounding like an elementary child after calling other immature morons, which followed your accusations of others in a wanna be posse that can't debate without sounding like an elementary child was, well, elementary and ironic all bundled together.

And it got a like and an oh snap, for the slow ones who had the irony zip right by them.

Any one who thinks Martin calling a timeout was the right thing to do with less than 3 seconds left should have their posting privileges revoked for being a complete idiot. No coach worth their salt lets the clock run down and calls a timeout with that many seconds left. He let it go down like he had a brain freeze and then finally called one. That is his incompetence showing once again.

There isn't a damn thing we've seen in 3 years that is going to change going forward with Martin as head coach. If his incompetent ass isn't fired then Hart should be fired along with Cuonzo.

Exactly what I want to do... Get into a verbal internet fight about my English comprehension or my IQ.. I will just let this one lie...

Back on point. Our basketball program is a complete joke. If you can provide any evidence to the contrary I would love to see it.

I didn't watch the game.. I had better things to do... The product that is on the floor does not warrant an extended effort on my part to find a way to watch... That said I see a lot of argument over whether it was the right call to take a TO at the end or not. Here are the post game quotes by our coach himself.

On reason for timeout at end of regulation...
"So we could get into a good set. We were scrambled offensively because [Texas A&M] switched some things. One thing I wanted to do was give our guys a good shot and a good look at the basket. Antonio made the 3-point shot [after the timeout was called], but I wanted to give our guys a good look. We got a good look out of Jarnell."

On Jarnell's play to tie the game at the end of regulation...
"It's a play we run in practice. We go over our situations all the time. There's different options out of that particular play. But for us needing two points, going inside to Jarnell with one-on-one isolation. I thought Josh did a tremendous job of putting that ball through there and I thought Jarnell did a great job at catching that ball."

After reading these quotes earlier my thoughts are if you work on situations all the time and your plan is to give your guys 2 or 3 seconds to get a good look.... you aren't very smart..

That's really what you took from that? I only saw a replay, but it was scrambled but initially he wanted them to play. He probably was wanting a good look 3 from a guy not shooting 0 for 5, and the look Barton got wasn't horrible but wasn't great. So, once that happened, Martin took the second option of going for the tie, and should've been the win if Stokes had made the free throw.
