I know that UT was a field goal away from victory, but you do remember that with 2 min left in the game Bama had the ball at mid-field and UT was down by 9 points right?
Kiffin kept it close, but it took an Ingram fumble and a recovered on-side kick to get into position for that game winning attempt. Can you really attribute either of those events to good coaching?
And? Fumbles and on side kicks are part of football. That's like me saying "UT really won by 14 even though the final score was 28-21. The last interception doesn't count because it happened in the last 4 minutes."
Exact reason why you play hard the whole game. And I do attribute it to good coaching. Without it we would have gotten beat much worse. Like say, 29-9 or
41-7. And that was with more talent.
